bet its a hacker scam and not really alibaba. Just like getting spam emails on yahoo from stolen account info.

it wouldnt help alibaba. They are just a catalog company selling shit.

Nah, it's legit Alibaba. Most of you wouldn't believe the CCP's surveillance programs, and Jack Ma has been in bed with them for a while. It's very likely that the CCP has every US citizen's driver's license, medical history, and online profiles cross-referenced.

I hear you, but they shut down my account. Then when I contact customer service on their website? From multiple devices, and IPs.. I dont see it.

I'll tell ya why I'm interested in "wasting" led space on UV. UV is a natural part of the light spectrum. UV helps fight infections and bacteria. UV is beneficial to plants. Up to 8% of UV reaches the earth's surface. You wonder why your indoor grows don't produce as much as an outdoor "natural" grow? It's because the light that reaches the earth's surface is not just white. There are so many more factors involved with light, than just color.

I supplement with UV and 660NM red.. I was talking about wasting wattage of the fixture on uv and red. When you can just supplement them when you need them. And get the entire wattage of your fixture putting out the most efficient light from the lm301's.

Since most the time you're growing you dont need extra uv or 660nm, it seems a waste.

Also uv LEDs are pretty much useless compared to florecent and cfl bulbs.

Debating between 2x 3500k vs 4000k qb for my veg room (Clones, Moms, Plants in veg that will end up in a scrog). I'm tempted to go with the 3500k as they could be useful in the long run for a full cycle run in that room.

I just received my 320W and 240W boards from Kingbrite. OMG these babies are bright! Don't look into the light! LOL! No seriously, so bright. I messaged with Vicky through the Alibaba website. Once we had the order settled, it was 5 days from the time I paid until they arrived on my doorstep! I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area, so I'm sure that helps. China > Los Angeles > San Francisco is a pretty quick route.

Ok final numbers in, 12x240w 301h 660nm. Over 12x8 layout. Came in a little over 9.5. I’m very impressed. If I ran all sour face instead a cpl heat wave I’d got 11/12 easily.. 16 sour face in 3g coco and 8 heat wave.

Hi guys. I am thinking about buying these lights. I have a 2x4x6 cabin, I have one Mars Hydro TS 1000 in it, I'm in my first grow. I can't decide which one to get. I'm between 2x120w boards or 2x120w bars or 1x 240w bar or 1x320w bar. Quantum bar W55's don't have a separate switches for uv/ir and from what I've read in here maybe it's not a very good idea to have UV anyway, definetely not all the time that you can't turn off, but I'm not sure, I'm more towards ones that have just cree reds. I would like to hit that 300w mark but that would be pushing it a little budget wise, would 240w be enough for my 2x4? Can I fit 2 of these W55 120w bars in my cabin? Is there much difference with 301H and B's. Lastly would it be better to get 3000k's since it's better for flower and it can still produce in veg. I'm gonna use it full cycle. I want to order as soon as possible. Any help and input would be appreciated, thanks.

I'm between these:

I'm using the 240W Kingbrite in my 2x4x6 and it seems like plenty. I chose it based on the many grows and reviews published here.

I saw your posts about w55 bars. Did you get 240w board or bar? I really like that coverage and it costs less than getting two 120's. They don't have switches for UV/IR but I think I'm gonna get a one without UV/IR anyway, just with Cree reds. What do you think about that? Thank you.

I have a 2x4x6 tent and I'm using two Mars Hydro TS1000 like yours so why don't you just get one more of those?
Sorry I replied before but I think it got deleted by mods, I don't know why maybe because I added some photos of plants grown under TS 1000. Anyway, let me write again. Originally I was thinking of buying another TS but it's expensive where I live and I couldn't find cheap enough with shipping. I can sell it after getting Kingbrites and I would left with more money and they say Kingbrites are superior. They say Mars has a cooler spectrum so it's not very good for flowering but I wouldn't know since it's my first grow and they seem to perform well. So supposedly I will get a better product cheaper. It will be less power if I go with the 240w bar or 2x120w boards but maybe it will be better with better quality leds?

absolutley. more than enough
I am about to buy one of these lights. I have one MH TS1000 in a 2x4x6 cabin. Can you recommend any of these? Would 240w would be good for it or should I push for a 320w? If I would get one more TS1000 I would have 300w total. Also 3000k or 3500k? Wouldn't 3500k grow bigger/denser plants overall with good vegetation? I would appreciate your input, I want to order as soon as possible. Thank you.

240w should be good. You want about 30w per sq ft. If using from start to finish I would prefer 3500k or 3000k. Adding another will work also

I'm about to buy but can't decide. I have a 2x4 tent, so half your space. I'm leaning towards bars but I'm worried about the space it takes as a single unit, like literally all of the tent, top is full with exhaust and carbon already, it will limit me with the clip on fans etc. If I had the budget I would get 3 120 boards, separate adjustability and everything, I could get two now but that would be even more expensive than a 320w bar. Cheapest option would be 240w bar. I'm between these now. 2x120w board, 240w bar, 320w bar. Also there is 320w board but they say 320w 288 cree board is not available anymore. Which one would be better? What do you think?

Out door grows are bigger because the plants veg for months nothing to do with UV.

If this is available, Id say go with this. Or start with the 240w board and add another board later. You sound like me, too much thinking. Make your decision, pull the trigger, and upgrade in the future. The sooner you get going the sooner you can upgrade.

Super informative thread !
Will be changing to Led soon but still got 2 questions, forgive my ignorance:

1) do i need a driver for each single board ? Are u just grouping them in one of those multi plug cables ?
2) what about those w55 kits ? Any good? They seem to have a better coverage....

Cheers
