It isn't "the same", but it's the closest budget option. HLG uses higher quality red diodes, and top bin lm301H, instead of middle bin lm301b diodes. They are slightly higher wattage and better spectrum/par rating, but cost a whole lot more.

I finally order mine today. I was going to get 6, but with shipping cost i decide on 4 for now. I ordered the 240w LM301H. They should be the same as HLG is selling, a bit better then the LM301B. I will let you know when they arrive and what i think of them

Are you ordering from Alibaba.com? I don’t understand how to order off of there. It says 1-50pcs $50 51-500 pcs $25 what does all that mean?

1 piece = 1 board. 50 pcs = 50 boards. The more you buy the cheaper it is. Aka wholesale

It is super confusing. They send in bulk. What u want is like a sample. Just means u only want 1 or 2. Id make sure u get it from kingbrite. Ive heard meijiu is ok also. When u click on the product read all details to ensure it is exactly what u want. Then hit the send inquiry button at bottom of page. They will message u back about ur price. I was leary and a bit scared at first. Just paid today so im not sure how fast mine will arrive. Ill keep ya posted

No hlg gets boards direct from samsung in south korea and assembles here in america. And use only matched top bin diodes.
Not made in china with whatever parts they get cheapest.

Not sure how, but Vicky sent me a message with tracking info already. I went to fedex site and looked up tracking numbers it says my order will arrive in Illinois on May 20th at 10:30 am. I honestly dont care what time they arrive. LOL, but if the day is right then, friggin sweet.

Thats the initial shipping estimate if they went out today, which tbey wont.
In a day or so youll see them start to sit in HK. Untill your shipper has them in their hands they wont have a sure eta.
Sorry for that.
Shipping will get back in order before long. Myself the little extra wait dont hurt. Extra dollars for grow bags and such.

Thats alot of light. But if its dimmed i could see it working. Im no one to say anything. As i had originally wanted 6 240w for my 4x5. Figured it give great even coverage. But i knew id have to dim them. LOL. But due to corona and shipping price increase I settled with 4, which should still do wonders for my grow.

Why everyone get multiple 240? Is it heat? Y not just get a 600?

More flexibility in usages, easier to afford seem like two fair reasons. Having multiple panels gives the freedom to split them up into different areas or tents rooms whatever, we don't all need 600w in one spot..
Buying 1 or 2 of the 240w may be more reasonable for someone with fixed or low income to afford at one time.

Cool, so in my case I have a 12x10 room. I was thinking 4 600kingbrite with uv/ir with 2 growers choice 315 in middle? What u guys think? Vicki Quayle’s me at 2k with ship I believe on the 4 600

Thats 2400 watts. Look at the price of 10 240 lights with the same ir and uv. Plus the shipping will be cheaper since the boards are smaller even though ur getting more of them. Plus u do get more versatility. To move them around , turn some off at start of grow and add power as u get into flowering. Also there is no frame for the 240w, the heatsink is the frame. With the 600 u have a frame holding everything together, therefore u have more weight. Ur saving money with the 240 boards plus ur saving on shipping. Its a win win

also if your on 480w light just say and the driver goes..... you lost the whole light......................................... the driver for the 480w is going to cost you.......
if your running 2 240's now your still in the game...... and the 240w driver is cheap to replace..........
the problem I have with there 4 qb's set up is the heat sink is a pie pan ...... I HATE that LOOK.......................................
the new 3 panels on the 240 heat sinks I WOULD BUY......... anything over that screw it... Give me 240w"s .........
