I have finalized my decision.

I started out thinking I'd get the 600w strips. I then leaned towards 2 x 320w qb. I was then pointed to 3 x 240w as the better deal. I liked it, but didn't love the coverage for a 4x4. So now I'm getting 4 x 240w with cree UV and IR with separate switches. This is the qb272 - not the 288 - Kingbrites 2020 version. I'm getting the double boards so they are wider and not as long. This will allow me to fit all 4 in a 4x4.

All i would fore this to make it work is a driver correct? ChillLed has meanwell drivers on clearance for 40-50$. 192.00 for hlg heatsink\Qb board. 250.00$ does not sound bad.........

I contacted Kingbrite a few days ago and have been discussing options. I spent a long time looking for in depth reviews of the company and found little, in the way of descriptions of the process and long term in depth reviews.

This will be my documentation of the process from start to finish, plus a long term review of the light in operation and any updates will be posted here.

I am dealing with Vivi Liu. I am purchasing two 600w LM301H boards with 660nm, 3000k.
So how is your grow going? Are you happy with your purchase?

Awww shit, it's on like donkey Kong lol.
My 680 watt led just came in. I'm tired as fuck from working all day but I think I have enough energy to assemble and take some pics lol.
I was very sceptical about Alibaba but they came through for, even got here a day sooner than expected

Received my Kingbrite boards in less than 24 hours from paying. I'm in Southeast Asia, but still... wow! I figured at least a week.

4 x 240w boards for my 4x4. I ordered the type with separate heat sinks for each 120w so I have some DIY work coming up this Monday.

2 Superskunk and 2 Alaskan Purple Haze are in for their soak

I ordered 3 240W 4000K and 3 240W 3500K+Cree 660nm for $1096.50 shipped to Houston. I received them within 2 weeks. I ordered them with the 320W heatsink to spread the light more evenly. Note that I only grow vegetables and fruits.

Does anyone know if looping the hanging cable like on the picture cause it to weaken?

Anyone encountering the heatsink melting the plastic on the cable. I attend to zip them up away from metal, but just wondering.
