I wish I felt the same. Droopy, bleached and slightly fried is not ideal to me. The meds are always gone as soon as it is done so have not gotten to sample the meds from this cut yet.

Skywalker OG was gifted to me by a trusted source. They wanted me to run it and see what I could do with it. I got skywalker clones under t5 and they also got fatter leaves than diablo og.

How can you tell if a cut is legit or not from a pic?

IMHo, To go by a pic and compare is not an accurate comparison, nor does it account for all the factors that can can cause differences in genetics.

For example, I have seen the same strain in 4 different growers room
The way it looks, in flower and the finished meds are different. Yes can tell is the same strain but not the same finished meds.

Here is a example: I see one strain you run. master x bubba, In your pics the strain has 7 leaf fans.

Ow shit you must not have a legit cut!! Well I could be wrong in saying that. May not be the case. Could just be a enviromental difference.

It appears you are not running a 1k light. AM I right?

Stick that same strain under a 1k light and she pumps out 9 leaf fans. (not my pic, but count the fans)

Make sense? I don't know it all, is just one theroy.

I feel that there is no way too know all the factors from a photo. what do you think?

I will say that I absolutely agree that the same strain will look diff under diff environmental conditions, growing mediums, nutrients, and grower's skillz. I know this cuz I've ran the same strains over the last year and a half in a variety of mediums and nutrients with changing ambient environments along with refining my skillz... In my conclusion, the same strains actually look slightly different based on these variables... I don't need a supermod to tell me my MxB cut, or any other is legit or not based on picts, but I'd gladly toss them a few nugs for a smoke report... :cool

To answer your question, I have not ran the MxB under 1kW yet, but will do so in the Under Current. Also I have not used supplemental CO2 ever, so I'm sure that would help make my nugs fatter... Finally, I agree that it's very hard to determine whether a cut is legit simply from veg picts, let alone the diff variables I mentioned when flowering, but I will say that I've seen the same strains in diff environmental conditions, mediums, and nutrients look consistently similar in veg... Hence there seems to be more divergence in traits and phenotype expressions in bloom based on these diff variables... :thinking

The skywalker OG is nothing but a dank sativa phenotype of OG kush...probably an S1 of SFV or the like. Very earthy and skunky with that Old man breath OG dankness attatched :D
