I’m in a tight group of three of us that just switched to LED’s, that are now competing with each other. Two dirt growers and 1 hydro. It’s all for fun and the only reason I’m keeping every plant separate and weighing each one. Otherwise I harvest more than enough with hps or LED’s.

My led can't get as close to canapy as my hps.

Comments fairly accurate about being able to keep hps closer to canopy than led. Given good ventilation.

Tent growing/limited headroom with led. Large scale operations with tall warehouse heights. Still mostly hps/mh.
they both serve their purpose👊

We should note that 100 watt led or 150 watt hps are not really high light sources like cannabis requires for proper potential.

Any conversations we have been having may be referring to multiple high wattage light sources. Big difference in heat issues , light distance, etc.

Not true, either will grow buds to full potential.

no. Cannabis is a high light plant. We are trying to get the intensity of the sun on these flowers. You disagree but it is already tested years ago that too little light reduces potency and also longer veg equals higher potential. Immature plants dont get as complex or potent. I have tested 12/12 vs 8 week veg clones and all 3 times the 12/12 plant was weaker. And smaller, thinner and lower yielding.



Ed rosenthal documented it in his book so i thought i would try too.
