So how much molasses do you use per gallon? Let's say if you were using live soil and dry amendment each round and reusing the soil, when would you use molasses and how often and ml/gal per round? If I'm not mistaken I believe the stuff I am using has dried molasses in the ingredients. Maybe I will also email the manufacturer and see what they recommend. I might not need to lol. Anybody else also have any advice?
I use 1 tablespoon of molasses per gallon of water. Put the molasses into a bowl with a little water and microwave it for 30 seconds so it can mix with the water. I feed the plants
GH Flora Series nutes at 1/2 strength starting about a month into veg. So I nute, then 2-3 days later I use molasses water, then nute the next time, then molasses again and repeat. I’m using
FFOF with 30% perlite, 20% peat moss, and a scoop of garden lime. Some people think molasses is bro science, but I mainly do it to remove the salt from the roots. It beats putting 10 gallons of water thru a 5 gallon pot to flush it a few times per grow. I have to bring my plants into the shower to flush so it’s annoying to do that.
