Don't want no cookies don't want no OG's. all can be found in seeds if choosing the right pheno.

I want that P-91!!!!

Anybody with experience with her know of any seed line or hybrids that can toss out phenos similar to P-91?

Or better yet a source on where to find her lol although that's proven to be quite impossible for a small-timer like me.

Well after looking thru here I didn't see my only grail....

Mid Michigan's late 90 chronic... The Kevorkian's ...tiny rock hard nuggets of face sweating perfection.... First weed I ever smoked that you just didn't want tonquit because the flavor was so good and the ceiling seemed to never stop....no idea on genes but it was pure chronic_ I'm sure its stashed away somewhere.... Oh and that heirloom skunk looks pretty fire as well!

Real deal sonoma coma from the late eighties early nineties out of Petaluma. RKS/Skunk #1 that was so dense the nug just kept bigger as it burned. Instant effect followed by a nap. Heard the name is back but not sure if it the same. Would also like to smoke some P91, Pure Kush and GROM again.

I know you like old strains, they almost always have a good yield. Almost all the old stuff I have ran had better stories than bud to be honest. The one old cut that I did run was way too finicky for me. I would love to try P-91. I just never hear about the good stuff any more. I wonder if OG's have just clouded everything? The Chemdog D was no hype but the smell is offensive. I have a Jolly Rancher clone that comes from old genetics, it been crossed a few times and is from early 2000'a. I love the taste and smell, it's so jolly rancher candy grape that it almost seems fake, artificial or hard to believe.

I know there is some good old cuts around. I tried Albert Walker, Afghani Bullrider,Asian Fantasy (buds not self grown on the AF), NL#5 and a bunch of others, I didn't care for them. I have enough people telling me not to grow the Arcata Trainwreck, that I decided not to grow it. Shoreline sounds like a badass! I'm still on the hunt for a really stinky Sour Diesel old or new. The original Diesel was good but lacked potency. The 89 Triangle Kush I have is ridiculous and probably my favorite strain, it's a pain to grow because it's slow and needs to be staked, it also is prone to PM.

@nightmarecreature I think if you tried the P91 before you'd def remember it. It was like the original AK47 if you remember that, just different flavor, similar toke/effect. I grew up with those, as well as Purple Hair (only strain I have yet to see more than once, just felt I should mention), Hashplant (not sure which cut really distinguishable sweet hashy taste though I'm thinking HP13 cut), G13 (was called G13 but most likely some 89' G13/Hp), Bullrider, Pineapple Trainwreck (still trippy ass sativa effects but in indica form, just heard Loompa Farms still runs her), Alaskan Thunderfuck, and of course.... Kush (before the names/cuts were a big deal). Homies from LA would always bring that OG and Pure Kush, but down here in Dago it's always been deep with that Headband and Diesels. I've tried some pretty rediculous cuts of Headband though that blow most OG's out the water! Damn near had an anxiety attack of the homies cut who took first place in a cup out here lol shit was crazy. But yea OG seemed to become everyone's primary focus in SoCal and flavors just been fading out. Plenty shit still out there in NorCal though just some shit is really hoarded/guarded.

I really didn't start smoking weed till 1990 or so. I do remember how different it was. Different smells and flavors. I always ran into the more skunky stuff back then, I was in Jr. High and High School, didn't have the funds.

I honestly think people like OG's so much because you don't really build a tolerance up to them. All the old cuts even the Chems and Chemdog D, you build a tolerance up to them really quick. Even the old strains, tolerance builds up quickly. The really good 1990's OGs and Kushes, get you blasted each and everytime. The bad thing is, the flavors, taste and smell is similar.
I don't know man, most of the old strains, from what I have tried, just seems like nostalgia. I will be running the HPK soon, I'm not sure how old it is but it looks great.

lol I forgot Chronic. When I was a freshman in High School, I thought chronic was the best. :)
There was a strain called Chronic but it was mostly used as a term for good weed.
Chronic= Fire (Good Weed)
Chronic= Strain
Fire= Chronic (Good Weed)
Fire= Strain

Ak47... one of 3 strains I smoked in my life that one bong rip got you straight up jacked. It was the frostiest buds iv ever seen. Almost couldn't tell there was any green under the coat of trichs. Closest iv seen was the cherry pheno of Ak a few years later around 2002 but wasn't the same. Original Ak release was EPIC.

White widow....original f1 stock. Guy I knew grew it in 99 and was the holy grail of weed probably still to this day for me. A bowl rip got you twisted. It was the first smoke I ever had of my life. Almost ruined weed for me in general. In 99 I was paying 60 an eighter for it. Which was Un heard of back then.

NL7......The prettiest weed iv ever seen in my life. It was like looking at a damn unicorn and a rainbow at the same time. You felt like you committed a felony just from burning it. Flavor was very nice but the high and look of it were what made it so special.

Blue thunder fuck.....guy I knew in college grew this stuff in a damn closet and it straight ripped your face off. It had a serious delay to it. Creeper weed at its finest. No joke you could smoke a whole joint. Chill for 15 minutes then BAM it hit you like a brick wall. Watched some people turn ghost white on this stuff. It was that weed that should have came with a warning label.

There are a few more but those will forever be burned in my memory even as shitty as my memory is these days. I'd love to have any of those again. Don't even need the cuts though that would be epic....The flowers alone would put a massive smile on my face lol

It makes me sad that none of these genetics were preserved. Fewer growers, busts, mistakes, probably contributed to the demise. Great stories SM, those details are the kind I like to hear.
