Even if they are cracked, and you broke the stem, they can still recover. Remember, these are weeds! But, if in a day or so, the top looks wilted, use a sterile razor blade to finish off the topping job. You've got this JS! My help is a nice trade to see how the LSD turns out!

Out of the 3 styles topping would b the easiest.. LST is 2nd easiest & pinching AKA SuperCropping is the most hardest out of the 3... Even now after I've grown many years I can't seem 2 SuperCrop rite.. It's kinda hard 2 do.. I breakout least 1/2 my tops.. I pinch 2 hard & crack off the tiny top..
If u were 2 try 1 I would say try topping.. But as posted above u can try 2 pinch but u will prolly snap off the head & u will juss end up topping.. It's not a big deal if u snap off the tiny head cuz it will grow 2 heads u will b ok ur plants look very healthy.. Lookin good so far o I 4got if u do try pinching (SuperCropping) make sure u do it after u water ur plants not when there bone dry.. If there dry then the plant ain't as bendy & u will 4sho snap off the head..

well at least now you can compare topped to untopped

supercropping isnt that hard - just takes a bit of practice - I supercrop down low first time and after the stem thickens I work my way up - supercropping the main at least 3-4 times

well I started with the green poison the part I squeezed gently and the top popped of into my hand lmao, went to LSD squeezed her between my thumb and fore finger and i think she caught the corner of my thumb nail and slit the stem so that part is laying at a 90 degree angle. The power kush I think I may have got right still laughing.
this morning however it did look like I had some more lateral growth. you'll have to tune in next week for week five pictures to see what happened.

Well just take one clone from each of your plants before putting them into flower.
And keep them under a cfl somewhere. Just in little cups like you're doing now. You'd have 3 extra cups, doesnt take up too much room.

Nice job on the topping JS. Like it was said, they're just weeds which are usually plants no one wants right? They look well established thus harder to kill at this point so I guess you can't be doing too bad with topping or pruning. I usually do this crazy alternate pinching of leaves and topping but on my next round I'll just let em be for a little. I have 2 more LSDs going so I'm gonna start a dairy soon. But just a preview, the two LSDs I started in a napkin have germinated and sprouted. I barely started them Sunday, today is Friday and both have the cotyledons (1st little round leaves) and primary leaves growing in 18oz party cups in organic soil! Cheers!!:rock

Hey JS, nice work on the topping. I would wait a little longer for those new tops to turn into sturdy stems, so they can support more bud weight. Right now, they are still recovering. When they completely bounce back, meaning you see a lot of new growth from day to day, then I would flip them. 7 days could be enough, just watch it a bit. Do you have any potassium silicate around? I would start supplementing with that if you do, especially during the flower transition and stretch to ensure strong branching.

Will probabley wait longer than 7 days to go to 12/12. got a great recomendation from pheno to supliment with silca/mag to strengthen everything up so they can handle the weight that will be coming during flowering.
