After trying Barney's Liberty Haze (Amsterdam Cannabis Cup Winner 1st 2011) I had to try my hand at growing some. It's a cross between a G13 male and Chem Dawg 91. 8-9 Weeks flowering, THC 25%

The first photos (if I can upload all correctly?) show two Liberty Haze from Seed, 14 days into flowering, LST'd whilst vegging only. Both in 11.5 litre pots, 600w HPS, general compost, HESI nutes. Both Lollypopped. I will add measurements shortly.

The second set of pics are the next to be, Liberty Haze and Buddah Blue Cheese again, vegging away for around 2 months and both LST'ing for the last month. Both from seed. Both in 11.5 litre pots. Under 300w Blue CFL. These (and a few others) are to replace the flowering crop of Liberty's and Blue Cheese when harvested in approx 6 weeks time. The plan for these muthers is to re-pot them into 18 litre tubs in clay pebbles and switch nutes to HESI Hydro. I don't know why I started growing in soil, I had much better yields when I used to use clay pebbles/hand watered.

Today, i have tried my hand at the FIM topping method suggested by Chobble on the Blue Cheese and Liberty Haze vegging in the last few pics (above) both have now been FIM topped and LST'd. They still have another 6 weeks of planned vegging before transplanted into 18 litre pots and in clay pebbles and change of nutes. That's the plan anyway? lol. I will try and post photos every seven days until finito.

Vegging Blue Cheese been LST'd and now FIM topped. I have released the plant from the LST wires for a while to allow it to "straighten up". I will return this to LST in a week or so. I have tried my first attempt at FIM topping the plant.

Flowering, Blue Cheese Plant 2............Day 20.......41"
Blue Cheese Plants 3..........Day 20.......37"

The difference in plants 1 and 2, 3 is quite amazing. Plant 1 had the Low Stress Technique for approx 2-4 weeks whilst vegging. Plants 2 and 3 not. Plant 1 has a stem nearly 1" in diameter. Plants 2 ,3 less than half inch. Plant 1 makes the other two look like twigs. Even though plant 1 has been on flower for nearly 1 week longer it is by far a stronger, bigger and looking much more productive. I'll re-post the latest photos of plant 1 and plants 2 below..

Here is the pic of what looks like a successful FIM (Fuck I Missed) topping after 3 days. It's looks like at least 3 "heads" have replaced the one cut. (Image 0382)

Blue Cheese and Barney's Farm Liberty Haze weekly update:

Blue Cheese Plant 1 now day 30 Flowering, This is the only one of the 3 Big Budda Blue Cheese I'm growing from seed that had a few weeks Low Stress Technique whilst vegging. The difference is quite noticeable, thicker stem, bigger buds and more of them. Height 48". I've also pictured all three together. Plant 1 is on the left.

Blue Cheese Plant 2 and 3 now on day 27 Flowering, Plant 2 height 38", Plant 3 now 52". Plant 3 although the taller looks very poor and I've even contemplated junking it. The buds are bordering on pathetic whereas Plant 2 is almost a smaller version of Plant one. Buds are looking good, Neither of these had any LST treatment.

The plants on vegging, Budda Blue Cheese and Barney's Liberty Haze are coming along nicely. I'll post the Blue Cheese photo on the next thread. Here is the Blue Cheese, 11.5 liter pot, multi-purpose potting compost, under a 300w CFL Blue lamp, a nice slow veg, no hurry as no space in the tent for at least another month. I have cleared any debris and unwanted leaf from below the canopy. The battery on the side of the pot is an AA for size purposes. One picture from side, one from above.

Blue Cheese Update: Day 38 Flowering Plant 1, Day 35 Flowering Plants 2 and 3. Heights 49", 46" and 51". The main colas on Plants 1 (had LST) and Plant 2 (without) are filling in nicely and looking good. Plant 3, although the taller is by far the runt of the pack although the buds are now improving slightly. The minor stems on all three have been tied to the main stem to save some space.

Day 45 flowering: Big Buddah Blue Cheese Plant 1. She's looking good, the main cola is bulking up and now supported by a bamboo cane due to the weight. I have started using the Bud XL for hopefully her last two weeks. No change in height.

Day 42 (week 6) flowering Big Buddah Blue Cheese Plants 2 and 3. Plant 2 is also bulking up with a lovely big cola again supported by bamboo. Plant 3 is the runt of the pack. Buds not quite as big and bulky. Have had to slightly bend the top as it's grown to tall for the tent. Now using Bud XL along with the HESI nutes.
