Good good just ruling out a salinity issue. Yep all in the watering and that plant in particular likes a bit more nitrogen by the looks of it.This whole grow has been an attempt to start a ROLS setup, so 90% organic dry amendments. Original soil is a mix of happy frog and ocean forest, with lava rock and rice hulls mixed in. One dressing of alfalfa and kelp meal in veg, the addition of 1-2” of the build-a-flower mix at flip, a dressing of kelp and neem meal last week.
In their water they got aloe flakes and GH Armor-Si(silica) alternating during veg, and since flip have gotten mostly Fox Farms Big Bloom every other watering or so. This week they’ve been given a compost tea with Neptune’s Harvest 2-6-4 (fish protein hydrolysate, molasses, seaweed, sulfate of potash) and two initial doses of TPS Cal-Mag. I know some of this isn’t organic but I’m ok with that as long as the soil and rhizosphere are healthy.
Lastly I have some regular ol Fox Farms Grow Big 6-4-4 if I need to really pull the stops and get them fed ASAP. I’ve been banking on dry amendments and soil microbes giving the plant what it needs up until now.

If using RO keep the cal mag. If not I would drop it and just add som epsom salt (mag sulfate) 1-2g per gal. I usually find the cal mag ratio a lil off and the increased mag hps balance it out while the sulfur helps boost terps and flavoniodsI think I’ll continue alternating feed and water days like I have, but switch to the 2-6-4 for feed days. They should start to get N from the recent top-dressing eventually as well. Would keeping the cal-mag at half strength be a good idea?
Thanks the both of you for your input. I especially want the critical to reach her potential. Once these girls reach the finish line, the pots will get re-amended, cover-cropped and left to cook for a bit while drying/trimming/relaxing happens. After that though, it’s Bodhi time. That’s when things will get real fun
I love Steely Dan........... they have a couple great albums.
With so many bands, stuff can sound the same or similar. These guys were great musicians, and were able to write and perform complex songs in a great variety of sounds. You have to be a good musician to play jazz, and a lot of their music was "jazz-like". Check this out........

Favorite Steely Dan song.
That just gave me a major hit of deja vu. The guitar line starting at 3:52 was definitely lifted by Nintendo’s studio band for a track on Mario Kart, I just can’t remember what track or the context of it. I can hear it in my head though, MK just did it with some extra chromatic notes added in
