Thanks for the kind words bro. Glad to see your here for the ride. I have some Root's Excel and KoolBloom Powder that wasn't in the pic also. (Just got them in the mail) I am looking REAL hard at Hammerhead by advanced nutes right now. I am thinking about switching out the LKB for the hammerhead. Anyone got any experience with this?

After a little engineering I got the screen up and in place. I placed the screen about 14" from the from the top of the rockwool cubes, and about 12" from the lights. I fired up the second 430 so it's go time. This thing should fill up pretty quick, we'll see.

Looks great man.. I got a question for you... Did you just pull up the plastic on the hugos and put hydroton on the top to stop the algea?
Also why do u think the RW is a pain to flush?.. You got the clearex right there!
I flush my Rw no prob..I flush them with like 100% runoff. Thats the only way theyll release everything. and depending why im flushing ill water the cubes with nutes right after so the plant doesnt flush...

Yup just pulled up the plastic, figured it would help the roots spread also. You are right I should have said ebb and flow is a pain to flush, not so much the medium ...

not a bad idea on the covers i like that! Ya ebb/flow can be a pain to flush so heres what Id do If i was you! You need to top feed them to properly flush them Im sure you know this. lol. I have a water wizard 1/4hp blue pump connected to a water wand that I can hand water with so each cube gets blasted with fresh water and yes i fill it up to where like almost 20sec of water running out the bottom and then I check my runoff with the meter and decided if there flushed or not My runoff is always the boss in this stage..
If you dont have a big pump/water wand Id just undo the hose you have feeding your table and use your existing pump and hose to hand water them it may be a bit harder for you if you have a short hose but im sure you can rig something up.... Ive had to do this on a friends setup cause they flood/drain as well and all they had was there little res pump.. BUt It worked....

Yea that's what I do now. I have a seperate hose for draining, filling, and flushing. It works out ok. I usually just drain the res. and fill it with new water add my clearex (if I use it, usually every other flush) then PH the water down to 5.5 I hit every cube until the PPM meter stops. It usually takes me an hour or so to do a good flush. I have never really recorded run off, just made a mental note but this time I am documenting everything. My nute formula I made is new so I will be documenting the PPM/EC of that as well. It seems to be right on target so far, my first week of veg was in 700 PPM range.

lol how funny... You fail he never starts. lol...

Nah man your gunna have a killer grow going.. Ya it does take time handwatering top feed that is the only draw back but just think how much better your ladies will be after an hour of work.. And Also IMO when you run flood/drain you should top flush every week(nute change) cause flood/drain your pushing all the salts to the top of the cube and there staying there.

Glad to have you along for the ride olddude. The scrog is pretty simple to setup. I am very excited about this grow.

The only potential problem I see Malachi is the scrog net will be pushed up some by the plants. You might want to take some strings and tie them to the net and then use an eyebolt or something to tie it tight to the floor. Do several key areas especially the center. Otherwise your scrog will get lumpy and kind of get that wave canopy you had with the sog.

When I did scrog I used a wire shelf and on the other I used chicken wire. I had my plants through the chicken wire and then tied the branches to the wire or the rack. I didn't tuck.

I don't want to see you get a big pushed up area in the middle. They will push up until the string gets tight which can be quite high. Go lift your string up from the middle and see how high it goes up. If it isn't much don't sweat it. If it is 6 or 8 inches you might want to tie it down.

Your set-up really looks nice though.

Thanks for the tips Tabor. The screen is kind of loose right now probally about 6 inches give, but I can tighten it pretty easy. All I have to do is wrap the string around the screws a few times and it tightens right up. I am supercropping as I go as well to help train the plants to go where I want them to. I think it will fill up pretty quick.

You will fill that right up. You will get a super nice canopy too. There is a bit of work and you lose the ability to move your plants out. But the yield and buds are worth it to me.
