Well for the time being he looks good to leave it alone. He can net when needed.

I totally see the benefits from the net and I am watching bud sites not get any or ample direct light and suffering. 100% the only reason it isn't up is I have to hand feed and made the plants too short by over topping and lsting early on. After watchin tons of vids and also gannacrannys grow, I am going to do things differently next grow for sure. Automate the feed and also veg them taller and then use the net properly. Every time I look at them I regret not havin the net up cause I literally could fill every square

That I can agree with 🙂 He has learned a lot, next time he will have them prepped properly. Looking good tho..

Look I know you have had a few aspirins...but gannacranny?.. 🤪 lmaooo

How ya feeling?
Better each day thanks. Still a bit of chest congestion and seem to get tired easily but I'm definitely improving.

Question for ya. One of my white widows in particular, is quickly growing bud sites way beneath the canopy and everywhere. Shouldn't I lollipop them before they continue to waste energy? Hard to see but theres like 5+ of em on 20-30 branches

I know this is a newbie question but any recommendations on a 4 inch setup for a 39" x 39" tent? Then maybe one with a 6" spread. Looking for good 3 x 3 nets. Yes my tents 3.3' x 3.3'

I dont need or really want a ton of elasticity. I plan on attaching it to the 4 corners with ball bungees or an additional hook. Ill make it fit just dont want loose or too big. Thanks.

I ask because Ive looked till Im blue in the face and cant make the call. I saw trellis nets in my sleep last night. :(

Has anyone tried using a 38" x 48" gate with chain link fencing in a 48" tent? Looks perfect with a nice solid frame etc. Like 80 bucks at HD. lol

Also: Has anyone tried side trellising in addition to a typical scrog? It would take specific training but I can see the possibilities.

There are a lot on amazon. I bought the stretchy nets for a 4x4 that came with 1 with 81(9x9) 4" and also 6". With the room you have, I would go to home depot or lowes and buy 4 x 3ft bamboo sticks. You could use them to make a box and weave sticks through net so it doesn't bow in on all sides and zap up your space

I heard the stretchy nets are good. See, right on because I only have four corner poles and dont want that middle sag. I may just get some wood dowels at the local hardware. These tent builders and sellers need to wake the fuck up and offer more poles that can be attached and or adjustable deals. Ya'll know what I mean. For attaching nets that dont have side stabilizers etc.

Yeah I agree but then when see tent makers like vivosun I can see that they don't include them because they also sell them. Would be sweet though if tents came with a way to keep the sag at bay for sure

Really? Because Mars does not. I may look to see if I can use the vivosun add ons. Crap. I had to get a weird size tent. They do have 36" pieces but they obviously wont fit a 39" deal. doh!

You could go with one of the many affordable and easy trellis nets on Amazon, honestly not too much difference in them except for hole size. I prefer bamboo poles. You can adjust the size of the holes on the fly, and even attach more poles to it to tie down long colas. Another benefit imo of bamboo poles is that they will produce no fibers when you cut them near your buds to release the branches. I don’t wanna smoke any polyester fibers, and buds are very sticky and perfect for catching all manner of particles. Just my 2c.

I trellis after the scrog, just to hold the buds up. Just build yourself a scrog table. I used pvc pipe, and a three by three wire top. Put removable legs on it so I could hook the top into frogs at the top of the tent and raise and lower. I split pool noodles and put it on the outside edges of my table to keep it from damaging my tent walls. Is much easier to lower the top atop of your plants than trying to push them under. Pic below is scrogged and when the flowers hit nine inches, I then trellis it.

Yes, don’t allow the larf sites to grow. I pinch and cut them off the whole period of flower and still have a few to sneak in on me. It will never get decent light, but will be the first in line or on the vine..whatever you want to call it to suck up food etc. Glad to hear you are doing better!

Yeah CG Ive thought about getting my pvc on I know I could build pretty easy I reckon. Might actually be a half way fun project too.

I forgot to tell you that normal leg height is eighteen to twenty four inches. I went to twenty four and like for my plants to stand thirty two at time of tabling. A lot of my genetics are larger genetics, this gives me an entire limb to push under it. I held the wire top on my frame with zip strips, and covered all rough edges with a pool noodle. Not the most beautiful, but darn efficient.
