Mars hydro lights catch fire!

I've been running two non stop for over 6 months without a single issue and cannot believe the light penetration. Seen nothing like it. If they ever go out ill just buy more.

One of My Tsl 2000s in my 4x4 did this, and my tsw 2000 in my 3x3 did it too. Im just not using mars anymore.

They offered to warranty it but they want me to pay shipping both ways and for the parts, the labor would be free. The light is only 3 weeks old, i shouldn't have to pay anything at all.

Hope everything works out with your 4800s and you don't ever have to comtact customer service.

I used to use hps. Had issues sometimes, wouldn't go bash the manufacturer and tell everyone they are bs. Anyway, happy growing!

The reason im bashing them is the light is 3 weeks old and they dont want to honor their warranty, which is total BS.


This is straight from their site.

"Within (1) year. Full-cover warranty: Free components, free repair service, free shipping costs."


That is not what they offered me. Their company is BS. Sorry you're upset about the truth.

They also dont stand behind their product as this light is only 3 weeks old and they want me to pay shipping both ways and for the parts to fix it. Damn near caught my house on fire, TWICE now. That's really bad. It look like the wiring got too hot and melted, then shorted out. Where'd you buy it? Review it with pics or ask to speak to a supervisor. An electrical short or bad wiring is no small matter.

Me too, burnt the roof off the garage.

Im actually not. Im dead broke, taking this as a sign, its been one thing after another lately. I dont have homeowners insurance, i have 2 kids and a wife. I need my house more than any weed.

I have 2 3x3s and a 4x4. My 4x4 is down because one of my tsl2000s did this same thing about a month or so ago. 1 3x3 is now down too, and my other 3x3 has 3 of these $30 full spectrum 100 watt lights i found on amazon. They work pretty decent for veg but all my flower lights are trash at this point unfortunately. Moved my indoor outside to finish, hope all works out.

Mars is crap, mats was a sponsor on The Farm some time ago.
They were so bad they were let go because of the garbage they sell and customer service response.
All THC Farmers should have a fire extinguisher or fire suppression device where they grow regardless of cost.
If you burn your house up and they determine it was caused from illegal activities kiss it good by, cause you ain’t getting anything!
