What's growing on growmies! I apologize for the late update (not that anyone noticed ) but I have been running around getting some equipment and systems for my next season (hydro )

Anyway ladies entering their 8th week, I will start looking at trichomes this week, hoping to push her up 9/10 weeks. The smell is intense.. enough to give some people a headache, to me its simply smells amazing...

I plan on doing a 12 auto pot system with coco/perlite/hydro balls, and using 2 tanks. One for synthetic and one for organics will doing that on the next seasons diary. Which by the looks of it could be in a months time that's if this ladies dont decide to drag like you mentioned

just chopped my OG Kush today @ 100F...could have cut at 98 or 99 but she made me wait so she waited til we hit a 100 lol.

So you finally chopped her

I'm planing on splitting the system between the organics and synthetics. Will Def be a much laid back grow but still need to be on top of things because things can go wrong very quickly as for me I think it will be interesting to see an organic hydro style grow

Man, if my grows were laid back I don't know what I'd do with myself most of the time...I have become good at puttering I guess. I will be looking forward to seeing this "synic" grow when ya get there

Ladies been harvested within a period of 2 days mostly due to lazyness to trim.

Plants were wet trimmed and hang to dry at a target of 16C & 60% RH

10 days later...





the buds have been hang drying for about 10 days and today I decided to give them their final trim and into the jars they go.



I did do a smoke test with anther 3 grow buddies of mine and apparently they say it's been one of the tastiest buds theyve tasted, they could be saying that just because of being my buddies but I will say terpene profile on this harvest has been on point.

At the start of this grow I went out to test some burble lights & do a side by side run of organic soil and organic coco



Verdict:

Throw away the burples and get yourself something serious. Burple lights are good for seedlings and even tho they will push you through harvest, the yields are far less than throwing in a QB instead. Lights lights and lights above anything else. You can save a few bucks on some equipment but not with lights, they impact your final yield tremendously.



Soil vs coco?



Well I will always go with Coco, there's already a few topics you will find here stating the benefits of coco so I will not mention it here, but in terms of quality both the organic soil and coco provided the same results. It really comes down to what you prefer and what suits you.



Now only thing left is to do a smoke report which I will in 2 weeks after some curing time



And with that said I think we can conclude this grow diary complete. I'm already setting up my equipment for my next run, will be doing autopots and coco, both organic and synthetic using some of Nirvanas THC powerhouses

Currently playing with a cpl mini plants in coco in my shed for something to fool with, nothing like the regular tho.

Weather here is fk'd this year & blows dead bears...hot & humid then cold, hot & cold and 30 degree swings...happy I don't grow big outside as I'd be in a fit most of the time It's bad enuff inside lol.

I'll be on the lookout for the next journal man.

Exactly, way more hassle than I need, nothing ever dialed in especially this year. Bought an expensive portable AC unit with Dehumidifier, it dehumidifies alright...sucks the water out of the air like no tomorrow, all the while only making it colder...like freezing cold as there is NO temp setting for the DH function...$500 AC on sale for 350 bucks and it's crap.

I'll do some research, I've only briefly looked at the Autopots. A quick look at supplies, pumps, halos etc. and I think it's going to be close in cost either way I choose to go.

I'm still subbed at your YT, I never check my notifications tho...

Yea so basicly you fix one problem but create anther in the process story of my life. I do need to get an ac aswel but they are pricy.

I think the autopots will be a good experience, and very laid back with having to do the usual res maintenance once a week or so. A lot of growers seem to get good yields with using it. So better yields and less work? Sounds just like the right thing for me

Appreciate the sub bro Will start uploading content to the channel some time. Unfortunately it takes time to get all the videos cuts and edits done, but this autopot run will be documented on the channel from seed to finish no doubt

Good day growmies. Thought I'd end this diary with a few compiled pics of this grow from the time I neglected the seedlings until harvest. I'm also well into my next grow already and will be doing the diary for that one in the coming weeks, I ll be doing video documentary on it, aswel as the traditional diary so editing videos got me busy for now.
