They ate like pigs! Thirsty ladies also.

Harvest begins! I`m going to run them all through the trimmer and dry them . I`ll fine trim them afterwards. This will allow me to get them hanging and dried faster. Still plan on putting the covers over them this weekend because I could get rain or dew before I get them all done. They are so sticky!

Yesterday was productive, got 7 coughdrop kush in the shed and got the tunnels covered. 25% chance of rain on Monday and 99% on the 4th so having things covered ,even this late in the game is a real good feeling. I`m just cutting the fan or water leaves off the colas and running them through the trimmer so they will still need to be fine trimmed but this way I can pack more in the dry shed and get them dry. I`m thinking of drying them about 80% this way and wrapping them in news paper and boxing them up to finish drying. this is how they both dry and cure buds in Europe sometimes. I`ll still finish with a jar cure however . Had one of my daughters up to help last night and my son -in-law helped cover the tunnels with me. We had BBQ before they went home.

I`m going to fetch water today and let my son sleep in as his back is hurting and he was up most of the night. Later we`ll start trimming again. after the sun comes up I`ll take a few pics and post them when I get time.

Hit by rain/hale so my son and me pulled the plants in tubs under the tunnels.

Got some trimmers working through tomorrow and we got two rows almost hung. Looks like it will be rainy soon so we will be trimming under the tunnels when that happens. Should have this shed full dry by then and be working on the next one. I figure it will fill the shed three plus times.

We knocked out 10 plants so we should be somewhere around half done. Most are farm trimmed and hung but some were fine trimmed. I`m racing now to get it harvested and as much dried before the rain in maybe 8 days or so. The shed is full so we put up lines in the first tunnel and are hanging them up in there and will shuffle them to the shed to dry. Then into boxes before they begin to cure in jars.

I should have most if not all the garden hung today. I`m hanging the over flow in the tunnels. I`ll take pics as soon as I get it all hung. Still need to fine trim most of it, just doing a farm trim for now to get it harvested. It will still take a bunch of work before I`ll have an idea what my yield is. I`m happy with this grow overall but starting to turn the gears about next year`s grow.

I love this thread. Sorry I haven't popped in much. I really enjoy your posts. Seems like you're livin' it up and chasin' your tail at the same time. It's some good ol' wild wild west outdoor growing for sure. I admire the hard work and dedication Mark. Your work ethic is something to behold, and I hope people are paying attention.

Nothing but respect.

My work ethic`s better than my health that`s for sure! I`m thinking of taking a light day while my trimmers are gone for a day or two. I am hurting so bad and that`s after acquiring some pain pills! I`ll shower , do some house keeping , maybe cut and split some wood for the fire pit and clean up camp a little. Also have some DVD`s to catch up on. We have about 4-5 more plants in the top bed and about 7 more in the buckets to farm trim and hang. Then I`ll take some pics and post .

Been peeping in your thread for almost three years now and always amazed at all the work you put in MC reminds me of the good old days .....

keep it up - looking forward to them buds hanging to dry pictures - your a true legend around the farm

Sorry about the delay on the pics. My trimmers needed to take a few days off for biz and are back now . My son and I were beat and I`ve been having problems with my hip and back. We just did some chores and took it easy until the trimmers came back. It`s much cooler at night and they are troopers staying in the tent at night, even more so as one is recovering from breast cancer surgery. The Her son has asked to be an apprentice along with my son and has some good connections in an other state.

Taking pics shortly , trimmers are still asleep this morning. I`m such a slave driver!
