Have you done any autopsies on root balls for the discarded plants? If there is no or minimal bug evidence upon autopsy then the answer is something else, right?

About a year ago we were at this same place saying what the hell is going on in your garden, and I thought finding root aphids would have been the answer but doesn't appear to be; we both have figured out this type shit for hundreds of people over the years, so this is very strange that we can't figure this out for you

Edit: +1 worst year ever

It is likely i just dont kill all the root aphids and still they are a mild infection. Enough to cause the problems but not kill the plants quickly.

Everything i have read says you wont likely get them all no matter what barring shutting down for more than 6 months. And even then...

The imid does not stay in the root zone. It travels up to the leaves and stems. I only gave one dose as seedlings. I am going to do it 2x now. 2 weeks apart hoping that when they get to the flower room they still have the chemicle in their roots.

If that doesnt work i will add nemetodes but again. Not 100% effective and it only takes one live root aphid to start again.

After that i go sell cars. Lol.

Yeah the harvested plants had bugs crawling out of the dirt. But none visible when i threw them away as i had drenched a few times with h2o2.

And before that i looked at root balls for a year. Alrhough now when i look at some old pics i do see the white discharge a bit. I didnt recognize it then.

All plants were harvested or culled and lots of cleaning before re start.

And i saw evidence of the bugs but no actual bugs when i transplanted these to their final pots. But then treated with botanigard a few times.

They may just have damaged roots from everything.

I have 2 fresh seelings to try again and will plant more in the coming weeks.

They are truly an invisible enemy when not at high numbers.

I think nematodes would be a great idea to if not eliminate at least control RA, however with all your doing I don't see how they're still there and I don't see how they could be present at a level to be causing the issues that you have, I'm just not getting it

Last resort - hydro?

med, the gold from yesterday: kill with 2 syringes; less than a half oz.
regulate blood pressure and heart to the degree the symptoms touch it, in both directions.
consider a balloon, inflating, deflating... all the time... 30 million times a year... 90 years, hopefully.
what's the balloon going to look like? that's the arterial system, etc.
when a doctor gives something for it, he's treating an over inflated balloon... 50 years, later...
what if we kept the balloon balanced those 50 years. how much longer would the balloon live.
supplements are one thing, but the ability to regulate and preempt that balloon, that half century... might last longer.
just seems like common sense. i know you're about the grow, but as you collect the intel that's not in books, i thought you would appreciate it.
as i catch my girl's rhythm, it's easier to anticipate, than react and one would imagine, does less damage.
i know you're not into it, but to be able to treat in so many different directions is mental; cool. pot's an interlocking magnet that fits us one way. when we're not trying to get high, we don't have to be and it may be tailored to give us balance.
i'll take a look at what you mentioned and see if i've learned anything that applies. i got high, yesterday; i was workin. u know how it is ;D.
btw, i know you'd appreciate- the more i learn, the more i see how bad Rosenthal sold out; without checking out, first... he doesn't verify, for himself. he sells other people's observations.
it's funny when smoking tells you smoking kills... not when you have low blood pressure; spark it up...
low hr... caffeine... same. people just don't always see the tools around em.

Of course ed was a sellout. But he really did testing on stuff for years.

You should reaearch into all the testing isreal is doing for medical marijuana.

I only called my self med grower cause i had a card and the ch9 breeder wanted a name to use for my garden pics he was posting on his website and instagram. Sounded legit.

Have you ever tried the happy frog dry amendments?

Hey MIM , I've been reading your posts and not contributing , I've been in very similar situations without answers , I'm going to think hard and try to offer some sensible support

Sorry to hear about your troubles MiMed... It seems none of us are immune from crop problems this year. Except Burnzy lol...
I think a second application of merit for anything that's in veg still would be a good idea. I'd lay off the botanigard personally.

2020 has been a real twister... Just discovered a ton of thrips on the clones i picked up from Kanzeon.. lol. Gonna need to sort that out before my buddy drops off the elite cuts this week.

Its always something. This is how we learn to appreciate when things are going smoothly lol.

Hey MIM , I backtracking and re reading the post , see if I can relate to some of the issues as I've seen things go south in many of my own grows , sometimes I just give up on a plant or I'll just clone and repeat a grow in varied circumstances , of course that takes a lot more time and sometimes I'll find some pissy plants that just don't grow ......
I throw them out .....next

One unusuall issue I've recently observed is a plant I had would not tolerate limited root space , I'm not talking about root bound , just hitting the wall and she turned ugly , the roots crawled out from the drain holes , if I didn't transplant them quickly they turned ...
Not even close to root bound and as soon as I went up in pot size they corresponded with healthy green growth ...
That's one weird scenario I encountered this year

Another weird observation is something that occurs similar to my outdoor fig plants , I used to winterize them when I was up north , the spring arrived and the fig plants carried out old crappy growth from last season even though all the leaf was gone and the new leaf was fresh ,the figs and the plant continued a past trend ......
And even cuts I made and stored in the fridge grew ugly as they carried the deficiencies from the last year ....
Sometimes I think our weed plants are carrying some deficiencies even though the present conditions are perfect , I see that all the time with some mother plants and their clones

I know it all sounds like weird bro science , but something there is happening that would probably would have straightened out with more veg time ....

Though I think if things don't run smooth and perfect as a veg into flower transition , the end product suffers ......

Let me re read your post and come up with some more useless notions 😜

Interesting stuff. But remember this has happened to every plant. And with 4 different breeders seeds. 4 different potting mixes. And 2 different nute brands. And one round plants with chemical and fungucide pest control.

You would think i had it covered by now.

The next 2 seeds planted are only from last year. So pretty fresh. I have been wondering if maybe my seeds are old. But the useful seeds plants got sick too and they were new at the time.

Im even out of info to give to help.

Alright. Here is the garden minutes ago. All the plants have been fed in the last few days. The back row with no protekt or ph down. Front row all got phed to 6.3 after protect and foliage pro were mixed. And all plants got a different strength ec depending on how they looked to me and their stats last feeding/watering.

All plants runoff is between 1.0 and 1.3 ec. All fed 1.3 -1.5 ec. Faded and necrotic leaves that snapped right off easy were plucked.

I dont know. And Mrs. MMG said the same. They look better. Happier and more bright and vibrant. Takes at least a week to really see any improvement after feeding so keeping my fingers crossed.

If it improves i was still fighting bugs and the botanigard knocked them down. If it degrades next week after improvement the bugs are back.

Grrrr. I need some success for my head.

What week of flower are you in ? Possible to get a natural light pic ?

Weeks 3-5 in pairs. And im using the flash on my iphone. The plants look pretty much as shown if i turned a regular house light on them. Just the walls would look whiter.

The leaves are all pretty soft feeling now. They were quite stiff a couple days ago. I am hoping they are repairing and growing roots after the damage to finish flowering.

New root system and a growth burst would be the best outcome

I'm not really familiar with root aphids ....

But it must be an inscect problem , no way can all plants have issues unless it's heat temp environment etc .....
