I get impatient & always end up ripping them open to see but there's a little root on a cut in half topping of a critical kush, now my "basically a leaf" will thrive

But its about a week(ish) old. And about the size of my thumbnail. This is the one I expect to lose.

Hey big , how long has it been in that plug ?
I have the same anxiety about opening my plugs , lately i been pre splitting them then sticking the cut in it .....
Its like eating pistachios , once i start splitting them i cant stop , so lately i been pre splitting....

I have digital calipers
But moot point till I see roots lol. It's hard to keep the moisture level right on this little guy.

Just checked. Its 20mmx30mmx32mm at its largest measurements for the entire thing if it was a cube.

I just spray it with 150ppm nutes like most clones like. The little puddle made by spraying it gets soaked up in to the cube. Lol it's so tiny I water it like 3 times a day.

You are much more patient than me, now I remember what I liked most about ez cloners, didnt have to rip them open

Same, I just like to challenge myself
I'll tell you one thing though. I wont be making clones that small on a regular basis I prefer a 3 or 4 inch clone with a couple few nodes.

I like them small, they dont wilt as badly, oddly enough my "leaf" has rooted quicker than my normal clones this round

I never cut more than a 3” clone or smaller either.

Small ones fit better anyway. They already grow too fast, dont need to start any bigger than that. I've got some in just water right now to go with slower rooting, out of room but have to make sure I have at least 1 clone survive of everything in flower in case i really like it or wanna try different grow style with it
