As far as the old/young stuff..... my sig should say "I've forgotten more than I remember"

I DO hear what he was sayin' about the old views, but when ya step back and think about the fact that there are 60-70 year olds (and beyond) who have not only smoked weed, but who tripped acid and had lifestyles goin' on that the kids today can barely suss as they "emo" and "jackass" (and they are that stupid without Ludes? WTF?) and believe, as we also did...that a whole buncha what they are experiencing/feeling is something new that no one else ever felt/experienced before.

same shit, different day.... LOL

Not just that, but there are young people who hold those anti-pot beliefs, too. Being forward thinking, believing in individual rights, all that sort of thing is not the exclusive domain of youth. Its domain lies in belief structures.

Well all I can say is dont come to Tx and get caught with bud, not if you value ur freedom and hard earned cash. MMJ maybe helpin other states but not here. We cant even get MMJ on the ballot! So yea I'm pissed P19 didnt pass. I have to live in one of those states a full year to get a drivers license etc.
So I guess what I'm sayn' is I need a place to live guys! WILL WORK FOR WEED!
How is my state passing a proposition going to affect your state not passing it? Your state is one of the states that lined up and insisted the DOJ took matters into their own hands should California have passed the proposition, which is amusing considering the history and all.

Also, in California, if you move here and don't get a drivers license from our state within a certain period of time you'll be dinged pretty hard. I don't know which state has a residency requirement before you can gain ID, that's pretty screwy and makes no sense whatsoever.

I'm going to posit something for you, see if it's a thing you might be able to wrap your head around--perhaps one of the reasons "older" voters like myself voted against 19 is manyfold. Perhaps it's because we actually took the time to read it, whereas the VAST majority of the young people I've spoken with haven't read anything more than the title of the proposition. Perhaps older people voted no because we saw what a badly written proposition it is.

Do you think that's plausible?

Alright gang i know i dont live in a med state [i fuckin wish i did] in cali i agree no to prop 19/but now in colorado if im understanding correctly a no vote would limit or shut down med dispensaries correct//a yes vote would basically industrialize the mmj and put mom n pop grows out rite///well isnt colorado a commonwealth if so you guys the residents of the state dictate state law can create own laws i now i dont speek for myself when i say that non-med states and decriminalized states look to cali and coloradro to set the standard of mmj yall need to get together coloradoians and let the powers that be know who has the power and that your not affraid of impeachment proceedings if they dont do what you want get an emergency prop up theres clauses in all states law [voting laws]that allow for this sort of tactic i hope you guys come out on top because we cant take any steps back in the fight for our personal freedoms make a new law to the standards you as a community want

As a young person, I can attest to the fact that most young people are fucking idiots.

I can't argue that some 'old' people are the same. Surely someone older than me would be willing to admit that some of our peers are clueless, regardless of age.

I should have clarified or mentioned that there are clueless people everywhere, it's just that more 'old' people care to vote. Young people don't give a shit, which is unfortunate.

Bravo, SM. It seems that many folks want a "wave" of acceptance regarding marijuana to wash over their State without getting in the water....

Laziness of Americans. California had a whopping 55% voter turnout. Now, if that's not hollering 'apathy', I suppose only lower numbers will.

I think I can agree with all of that.

My dad had a surgery a few years ago where they doped him up really good. He recovered really quck afterward and got up to leave and the nurse anesthetist freaked "you're not supposed to wake and recover for at least another 3 hours" my dad replies "I feel fine. I lived through the 60's honey, this ain't shit!"

I know some pretty hard core "old" people in their 60's who grow better weed and smoke more than I do.

If it's the folks in their 80's voting then yes most of them probably voted down pot laws for nostalgia.

Don't fuck with the elders. listen to them, they have some of the best advice you could ask for.

Get a CO drivers license or ID card and then go get a med card at a doc in the box. Find a place in montana to grow as your red card is valid there. No one to screw with you and wide open spaces just like tejas.

Seems like MMJ bills in general across the country didn't do so well. We seem to be taking a conservative bend again in this country. One step forward, two steps back. And on we go for eternity, until they finally drop the bomb or we are all detained in FEMA camps and prisons.

What we need in this country, and in this world, isn't more bullshit rigged elections and bullshit arguments between bobble heads. What we need is a real revolution. Not a violent revolution, not a militia. But a farming revolution. A tax-free revolution. We all need an Office Space moment...fuck your cubicle. Produce something for once, stop pushing paper. Quit your job and grow your own food, and don't pay taxes EVER. Don't support the military or police. Stop paying your bills. Get rid of all the stupid material shit you don't need or use. Even if only 30-40% of this country did that, it would be enough to send the infrastructure crashing down...

All I need is a shotgun, a dog, and 40 acres...

GM, do a search on Slow Money and Woody Tasch. We need to shift the paradigm is what we need.

How many Centers closed by bans? I think there was one or two in Paonia. How many Jefferson county dispensaries, I only knew of one.

shoulda passed 19

:pimp: Oh this is the colorado forum :thinking

I'm sure you realized that this is the colorado forum but just wanted to be that so-cal douche. We're very familiar with the so-cal douche scene, we have our own so-cal douche scene freshly imported on a daily basis.

Prop 19 is a farce. Buy a med card and stop your whining.

He's not in SoCal, he's from North Carolina.

So he's a pseudo douche? Not to offend the legit folks in so-cal but I'm sure you're more than familiar with the so-cal douche scene yourselves.

Lemme get this straight, he's from south carolina, posting about what people in cali should have done, in the colorado forum?

Jeez..

lol yep you got a handle on it now

luckily I really have no idea what goes on down south

I think douchebagness is universal though
