Budhog is right, north of sac there are loads of cheap places with land, you can still buy 10 acres of land for 60K in some spots too. You can get warehouses for 30 to 50 cents a sq ft up this way also
depends what your plan is. I wouldnt move too up north. Unless you dont plan on selling your stuff, but you will kinda have to becasue there is no work up north. You could find a apartment in or near a big city and throw a 600wer up and work and smoke, maybe make a little cash on the side, I stress the word little. If your planning on moving out and makin loot then you have to go big.
Just be aware that Cali is kind of pricey for some things, but if you are coming from NY than you won't be hit that hard by the prices. Just to register your car it costs $170 for only 1 year! And thats for a '01!
170$/year....I wish! :character0110::party0033::boogie::sign0065:

No doubt! those fuckers at the DMV. Jacked my truck cost up this year. Think with was $270.
Man! Don't get me started about PG&E. For what I'm running and paying is total BULLSHIT! I would check into who is supplying the power. If you can avoid PG&E. Avoid them like the plague.
yes, you will see NO 215 like others have posted. Good luck and take care
Later,
BG
Another thing to consider is the Electric cost per kw from the local power company.
PG&E = Most Nor Cal *at least Humboldt* are major expensive compared to some other power companies.... and a difference between $300 compared to $1,200 by PG&E bandits
Can effect your whole bottom line with housing cost...
As for Humboldt... Landlords up here usually post NO 215 in their craigslist ads thanks to the publicity of news media... and stupid reckless growers with no respect...
So is hard to find houses in the area...
my 2¢
South Lake Tahoe has great rates, Sierra Pacific. Sacramento area has SMUD, if I recollect their rates are also much better than PG&E.yeah PGE is raping me also but not much i can do about it,i just pay on time and they leave me alone
how do avoid PGE in CA. other than generators?
