That instrument will/should give you a ballpark ph reading and soil moisture..some also read light intensity. I use one similar to ONLY gauge soil moisture for fussy drinkers..or in a pot that doesn't drain well. Not for ph

Fresh water crocs? Do you got salties? Snakes man, not my favorite.It's where the kids swim in the hot summer days just have to watch out for Snake's we have had our fair share of then after losing our little puppy to snake bite . This goes right up into the mountain where there are deeper swimming holes full of fresh water greyish top eating .

thank you incoginto, all they had was mirical grow brand perlite so i passed like you said. my mom has to go to Phoenix tomorrow to deal with new tax laws that mesa is putting on there hobbie shop. my dad is retired engineer, my mom has 1 year left before she retires. anyhow, they work more hours in that store than he ever did as a engineer. laughs.
im gonna see if she can stop by a nursery for some regular perlite tomorow.

25% is a nice amount of perlite to use,it helps to keep the soil aerated.Be careful not to over water,it seems to be a common problem with new growers,make use of your moisture meter it's a new growers best friend.Good luck & happy growing
thank you for advice.. the formula found basically said 3 to 1.. plus worm castings and a table spoon of dolomite to a gallon of water.. dunno about the dolomite or whatever he/she was talking about.
also welcome to the forum.. do not be shy i need all the help i can get. just a dumb ass country boy here im afraid. Dolomite lime probably wont break down in water,I cast a few shot glasses of it into a half bushel basket of soil that i mix up,haven't used sunshine mix myself but it sounds like you are on the right track.I water my seedling in solo cups for the first week or so using a spray bottle set on stream to keep from over watering.

Should be just fine. I actually use two 6" clip fans in my 4x4 tent and that's all I need.i have a question, do you think this fan will work for my tent? just for air flow over plants.. not the 400cfm inline fan/scrubber i need to get yet.

The company is really great to work with. The reason i picked this one is because It actually came with a number of different sized metal heads that screw directly into your kitchen or bathroom faucet so you didnt need to do any frustrating plumbing shit under the sink to hook it up.. Because it does go through your tap it will take several hours to fill your rain bucket up, so dont leave it running if your not going to be there for the first time until you can determine how long it takes to fill. They send you long white tubing so you can leave the r/o unit on your kitchen sink and run the small hosing all the way into the other room where it will drip slowly into your rain barrell. below...
purchased from Walmart, and was great!
i would stick the white tubing from the r/o unit right into the grill .
One other trick. Place this barrell up on a few crates. That way its easier to pull the water out from the hose. Your water will be zero ppm and if you use nutrients with ph buffers all you need is your nutes. I used General Hydroponics FLora Nova Bloom for flower and veg in coco and hydroponics grows.. . it has ph buffers.
i should also mention.. next month ill be working on getting my old girl on the road ( i hope i feel well enough.. im on day 23 of withdrawals so we see )..
she deserve it, she been sitting for 15 years. so i will be posting pictures of the progress i make on my car, and herb.. these two things will keep my mind and body busy as the withdrawals ease up and it just becomes a mental game.
1960 chev, I yanked the strait six out of her and dropped in a 383 stroker ( 350 with a 400 crank,, also i ported the heads my self.. i use to be a car guy. then gas hit 5.00, and i was on pills and said fuck it i aint driving did not want to kill anyone on the pills ) i built this engine years ago before pills and when i had cash.4 speed munci rock crusher, replaced the three on the tree. other than that she is a 60 year old survivor, original Roma red paint beat to hell. i know i should not be so open about my ride.. but fuck it im legal. if they want to bust me, so be it. they can find any reason they want. laughs.
any how the good news i have 70percent of the parts to get her on the road again.. the other would be cosmetic and shit.. im not worry a bout that.. i care more about just having a fast car, that can spin the tires in any gear i want also i will be upgrading the breaks to disk! no worries i know breaks com before horses.. i do miss cruising. so that will be fun to do again get in her and just go for a cruise out to the lakes or some shit.. will be fun.
have to love old crome looks how well it lasts compared to new shit.. sorta like when they use to enamel engine parts.
the disk breaks are in that tote in the trunk.
right now, dealing with feeling like shit, and brain all fubar.. yeah, i will much appreciate when it just because a mind game with the withdrawals then i can use good weed to kill that seed... this body shit sucks..
