Just remember this was a test. I don't wanna come across as advocating for or against.

I like to change up each grow a little at a time Just to test ideas.

The results are just that results.
Whether good or bad it helps people make decisions.

I threw my ph meter out 10 years ago and never looked back

Even if I ran a medium that I didn't need to ph check, I still would. I'd rather potentially catch an issue early, rather than after its visibly noticeable. .....Kinda like wearing a seatbelt...you don't have to wear one to drive a car, or reach your destination, but if you ever need one you'll be glad you had it on.

I grow in a mix of organic compost & sandy loom soil a fifty fifty mix that i buy 10 yards at a time.I amend this with perlite & lime and feed with Mr Bs Green trees organic fertilizer

but correct me if im wrong, but aint that what the lime does? Raise the ph of the soil so that it buffers highs/lows? And even if it moves it into an acceptable range, could it of still been even better ph range gotten even better results?

Yanno, I had this same talk with a buddy that doesn't ph because he's got it in an "acceptable zone". His argument was he grows nice healthy flowers without the fuss.

My argument was if you look at a nutrient chart and a ph chart there are SPECIFIC ranges as to which nutrients gets taken in at...so if your acceptable range is 5.8- 7.0 yet you're consistently at 6.8 you're missing quite a bit of beneficial nutrients.

I guess at the end of the day, if I'm investing my time, and money I wanna know they are given the best opportunity to grow and finish the best they can, or else why do it at all?

So no knock on anyone who doesn't ph, I commend you.

I think the amount of lime i use helps to maintain the correct ph though out the grow. From personal experience adjusting the PH has caused more problems than it has solved.

As much as you want to do something or open the tent a million times right now from excitement, do .....nothing. That's right, less is more right now. They have soil, they have water. They just need time. Its really going to be hard to not mess with them but you will be rewarded for being lazy right now haha. Ask @EventHorizan how many times he had to tell me to leave my plants alone before I listened

hah my old English teacher used a ruler, and also grab you by the ear and have a good talking with you. hah he was a wwII vet, he was cool as fuck.. yeah i got red knuckles.. different times for sure.. now you have a law suit.. damn kids all being wuss;s. heh.

well i weigh them they are at about 81grrams 71 dry.l. so i have been misting them, and put the domes back on.. did not want to dry out.

also hopefuly i have my light right now. hah, stupid timner. no instructoions so guess basicaly.

anyhow, i think i have it this time.. yesterday it went on and off when i wanted but then it kicked in to the season memoery phas of 12/12 which i thought yoou would have to turn on.,., so i just deletd all other memoery settings for now.

hopefully this is it., temps staying right at 80F low humid, real low hah

day 2. under a magnifying glass i can see baby thc hah. probably wishful thinking hah.

i should be ok on water correct? i do not want to co me home from the medieval fuck fest and have my shit to dry, laughs i think ill be ok but i figure id ask. i have the plastic bag dome on right now.. yesterday i kept them off just to dry them up a bit..
