WAAAccording to TP-Link HS110, the LEDS at its full B/W/R settings draws 245 watts out of the wall. These LED are now running at its 12/12 on/off light cycle, rather than the longer 18/6 cycle during its vegetative stage.
The previous 30 days, the LED consumed 118 kWh at its 18/6 on/off cycle, which works out to be roughly $35 AUD on the electricity bill. My guesstimate, based on 245W for 12/12 on/off cycle would cost about $25 over 30 days.
these figures are all relative, as it reflects cost of electricity in australia. one way, relatively is to say it costs 50% more to run vegetative, than flowering phase - or that its costs its 33% cheaper to run during flowering phase, than in its vegetative phase. That'll confuse ya.
i suppose one day, i will break down exactly the costs of production, capital costs, etc. I note all these details down. the accountant can stay in his closet, in the dark, until it's time.
i reckon 245 watts is about right for my small tent with its dimensions 2' (W) x 2' (L) x 6' (H).

I can't see real well, but I don't see the hairs. Maybe circle them so I can look better? It sucks to get old!WAA

Getting old, always beats the only alternative...I can't see real well, but I don't see the hairs. Maybe circle them so I can look better? It sucks to get old!
OK, better picture with the hairs in the centerGetting old, always beats the only alternative...
Not jealous, not at allkinda suspicious how it's wrapped, no?

it's expensive, this Canna Boost additive, $140 AUD for a 1 litre bottle. But it was $70 for a 250 mls bottle.
add 2 to 4 mls to each litre of water/nutrient-solution, i figured i would use a little over 250 mls for this current grow in the tent, into its flowering phase. and economies of scale, cheaper to bulk buy.

not sure about the manufacturer's claims about yields & taste, let's see.
mate gave me a small bottle of Canna PK13-14 - which i'm only going to apply once to these plants, half-way through their flowering.
i don't need anything else, except time.
Next time add 1/4 tsp of vinegar and repeat the test. If your aim is lowered ph that should work. Cant speculate on the soil -- no idea. If youmaybe its a topic i should have visited before...curiosity killed the cat.
was measuring the pH of treated water, in preparation of the partial water change for the aquarium, i'm gonna do, tomorrow. while i had the pH stuff all out, doing that...
one of the plants in the tent was thirsty, so watered it (with some of that Canna Boost, aka me calling it Canna Bloom). 1 litre at 6.2 pH watered, its run-off (less than 200 mls) measured 6.1 pH.
what does these 2 measurements say of the soil mix?
Why keep putting yourself down? Keep things super simple and make your plant your bitch.
We call that self-effacing where I come from but also earlier in the grow you had a lot of difficulty, hence the title. Gardening, ah it is fun.i'ma half-empty-type-of-guy.....i suppose.
yeah, looking forwarded to whatever nature and my effort presents. staying on the path.

our small balcony was my smoking area, where i would sit down over a mull bowl, packing cones, having bongs.
yesterday, our neighbours have moved back in.

walking the neighbourhood with this vapor only kimosabe. Now too many 'people' are out exercising, bike or jogging and getting in the way. The vape is the absolute winner. There is also the old kitchen range hood exhaust trick or WC for that matter. I also did the nonchalant thing in my hood near the pool at night -- but heard the neighbors complaining of the smell. Paranoia is integral to self preservation
