here is an illustration of what experience is, well, for me.

one year ago, this was my best prospect for the then upcoming outdoor season grow.

one year later, this is where i am at, with my largest plant, at the same stage of the outdoor grow season.

What a fool you are trying to imagine a bigger space because John Law wont let us tahe our medicine. How about guerilla grow Che style for some of the daises, eh. When you say you are the head of your schedule--i
Say Walkabout stealth style. Take these with you on your trip.

even if i have only had one major harvest in this one year timeframe, things might be looking up, hey. just gotta keep it together.

also, curious as to how these ONA works.

actually, the cupboard is located outside the front door, in the common area corridor - but i was going to apply this ONA at the front door area.

it's not going to placed anywhere near the grow areas.

i haven't yet set up the carbon filter, just working out its design/setup first, before getting more little bits & pieces.

i haven't yet opened up this jar. i was going to get a small glass jar and place some of it into it, and place it into that small cupboard.

another little experiment, see how it works...for me.

cutting took about a month ago.

20201009_081130.jpg

one lot of cuttings decided to bud out first, rather than vegetating. and they smell.

20201009_081734.jpg

so, cuttings taken at different growth stage, creates different growth patterns on the clones....anyway, this post is for my benefit.

anyway, i want to keep at least one of the budding-then-later-re-vegetating clones, so i can keep this Blackberry Kush strain with a motherplant. not sure where the others are going to fit in my grow.

i am bracing myself for the day, when i say 'stuff all this'. frankly, i don't have many solutions, and i don't like the option i'm heading towards.

this is what you get, when you bite more than you can chew.

i knew this might happen, when i moved this plant out of the grow area and placed into the corner of our lounge room in late winter. but there wasn't any other solution.

20201010_103410.jpg

she has started to bud. which isn't a bad thing, just out of whack with her timing. she cannot be placed back into my indoor grow area, simply no room under the lights. while the plan is to set up another tent, that's not gonna happen for a while.

20201010_103418.jpg

so, i am not sure what i'm doing with her? will she revegetate or will she continue with her flowering? what can i expect of her growth in such conditions, with the upcoming warmer months of the outdoor grow season ahead?

the outdoor/natural photoperiod is gradually increasing in spring, and i have this flowering plant!

20201010_103422.jpg

these small buds sites have mostly appeared in the last fortnight, so i guess she wants to flower on.

20201010_103428.jpg

this plant has not been fed - just watered in her soil mix. should i start applying some bloom nutrients or just apply some vegie nutrients, or i just leave her alone?

i'm probably leaving her alone, and let her do her own thing....then i can respond...?

and to put it back into perspective, last year i had this runt at this stage of the season. a contrast in the dilemma i encountered, gaining a year of growing experience...

if the light exposure time increases then it will return to veg. try setting up a lamp over that plant so it gets more light and that should turn it back to veg. if you plan to take clones they can still be taken now.

yup, as i thought, i knew this answer, but just had to ask it out aloud, to get this confirmation.

okay, i'll 'interrupt' her dark period, to encourage revegetation - though been in the lounge room, it does get additional artificial lighting - obviously, not enuff to keep her in vegetative phase.

i have got too many plants as it is, so no more clones for the time being. i was thinking instead of picking these small buds, would that promote revegetation quicker - or would i put the plant in more shock as well, along with the plant's confusion of 'seasons'?

leave the buds, each one will turn into new groth sites, if you plan to bud this plant later then it will have more bud sites but at the cost of smaller buds. but this is a good method to get a mother plant to produce more points to get clones from.
1 large cfl bulb in a lamp next to you plant should be sufficient to give it enough light to switch back.

the other patients/plants which have been nursed back towards better health.

20201010_153126.jpg

several months ago, these 2 were amongst the batch of 4 plants, which 'failed' upon changing to 12/12 on/off light cycle for their flowering phase. so, that whole batch of 4 plants, my first batch in the tent, were swapped out - and i have since harvested about a month ago, with the second batch.

20201010_155903.jpg

battered badly, losing her lower growth - she has been in ICU and on death bed, many times - seem to be good at getting into trouble, then good at nursing (well, not killing them) them back towards better health. euthanasia crossed my mind many times, and still does, but that's not an option unless absolutely necessary, and that is not yet.

20201010_155913.jpg

not sure what happened. re-potted them all, only watered (little bit of cannazym + cal/mag), nursed back to better health.

20201010_155917.jpg

these plants had to make room, so they were shifted in late winter from artificial lighting, to still within the apartment, but now just absorbing natural sunlight/conditions.

20201010_155924.jpg

and this plant is now starting to bud up.

alright, a couple of options here in front of me with these budding plants in early spring. and culling is not yet an option, not after all this effort in nursing them.

Capture 20201011 sunset and sunrise in syd.PNG

so, i'm gonna employ the 2 options - one plant i'm gonna hit with additional lighting during the night, while the other plant i am gonna cover from 7 pm to 7 am. revegetative one, and flower two plants.

it's not problem solved, it's moving along, moving ahead hopefully, these options fits the picture at this moment.

it's gonna be a process of elimination.

20201017_142644z.jpg

in the tent, now, there are 9 clones/plants in their 1-gallon fabric pots. this will narrow down to 4 plants, to be finished off for their late vegetative and flowering growth phase.

20201015_175545z.jpg

some blackberry kush clones insisted on budding out, not sure if i can revegetate all of them.

20201017_142704.jpg

there are probably 5 stronger candidates in that current gang-of-nine. and this suits me fine.

20201016_090319z.jpg

the slow coaches are either backups or assigned to outdoor grow season or the upcoming batches to be placed into the tent. there is no hurry.

20201017_142655z.jpg

aiming for between 8 to 16 offshoots each plant, then stop training to let 'em grow taller.

Here is my winter grow 1 month old. I topped last weekend and took clones. Some of my clones are shitty but wanted to spray then move into the flower tent this coming weekend. I plan on harvesting first week of January 2021. I have my clones for my march harvest.

Day 10 for these 2 plants, covered from 7 pm to 7 am. and it's a L O N G way, to the shop for a sausage roll!

i am not going to fight what they want to do - they want to flower, so let them, even try to encourage them to do so.

20201020_192208z.jpg

one plant gets boxed up, tuck her into bed every night at 7 pm.

also decided to dedicate one, if not both of these plants, to manufacturing edibles - starting with canna caps and tincture. the struggler of these two plants is going to be harvested, to be used to make these edibles.

20201017_111107.jpg

my plan now is to grow one plant every crop/batch, to dedicate to manufacturing edibles.

i did JUMP the GUN.

made the plan, now its onto the preparation phase. and it gained its own momentum, a big snowball running downhill with some velocity, though it is to bog down now waiting for the next small harvest.

the thought was sown about a week ago, and now this seed is growing into a monster - well, i hope it becomes a Frankenstein.

20201020_181611z.jpg

during my grocery shop, i had a bit of resistance from my partner about cooking oil - where she asked me 'why extra virgin coconut oil?'.

my partner's total confusion as to why i was looking for powdered or liquid, then buying the granulated lecithin at the supermarket - more resistance.

is it just today, or is it about my ideas?

Capture Polmos Spirytus Rektyfikowany.PNG

then this argument continued in the bottle shop, when i asked the shop keeper for some Polmos Spirytus Rektyfikowany (i can't pronounce it, hard to pronounce, not easy to drink!) - i told them Bundy Overproof nor Bicardi 151 will not do. went to another bottle shop, where he didn't even understand what rectified alcohol is - i.e. pure grain alcohol. i told the shop keeper to google it.

you don't have a neat shot of this Polmos Spirytus Rektyfikowany. anyway, gonna order it online, as there isn't any local bottle shop stocking this dangerous stuff.

couldn't find any mason jars with its 'proper' lid (the rim around the neck) in brick & mortar local shops, amazed that they seem to have every other glassware. so, ordered them online.

i don't trust our oven's temperature - so i got one of these....

Capture oven thermometer.PNG

also ordered online hundreds of gelatine 00-sized capsules, and a capsule filling machine with its tamper.

Capture capsule filler.PNG

and then JUMPED the GUN, and bought this MB2e.

canna caps & tincture, my breaking bad.

now, i do have a stash left from recent harvest. however, plan is to decarboxylate these 2 flowering plants when they are harvested - hopefully, early December. maybe a New Year's Eve session where we cook the first batch of edibles.

i have a reason to live, now.

Let the ones for edibles grow until they look completely dead, this will make more "stoney" edibles

You make the strongest edibles from kief and concentrate. Make decarbd shatter first and then mix it with decarbd kief for strong edible caps. That mb machine will work but not make blow your mind strong ones.

You don't bullshit about what you say your going to do! Are you going to grind to dust then put in capsules? Keep in mind, when you concentrate weed, you concentrate and other impurities ie, pesticides etc. I would like to gravitate toward making edibles. Hopefully, you can teach us some of your techniques.
