Thanks man!

Any damned time

Here's those pics I promised.

Golden Leaf - Day 88
It's just about ready I'd say, seeing a nice amount of amber after peering through my loupe at it again today. It's so hard to tell at times but feeling confident (he says!) Smells a bit grim tbh () to me but I think the curing will sort that out.

GG4 - Day 88
This definitley a little longer, few bits of amber but not enough quite yet. Some gorgeous colouring and frosting on it though and smells delicious, all chocolatey.

Ok, just about there. I really think I need to chop the GL but going away for 3 days tomorrow and am a little worried about it drying out too quickly as such low humidity here. Will have another look at it today but might wait till back on Mon/Tues to do it.

Ok, so where to start?

Here I suppose:

Finally chopped them down and look ok but...

I had a couple of large buds literally dry themselves out and disintegrate in my hands which was, weird to say the least. I think it was my doing, I got over excited about my new tent setup and put them in there (overnight) with my seedlings for my next grow and I'm guessing dried them the f@ck out by mistake. Rest of the buds seem absolutely fine so we'll see how the drying goes I suppose. Not bud rot, surely?!

I had them in that tent for a day or so but humidity was through the roof (75%+) so I've moved them in to a nearby closet and seems much better (66'F and 44% humidity average).

Fingers crossed I haven't ruined them all right at the end.

[lenhug]

Well, that went oddly. They were bone dry and nearly crispy in some places in 4 days! The low humidity here really catches me out. Seems way too quick but I think is season dependent as my end of Summer grow took more than 10 days.

Anyway, jarred on 30th here (with Boveda 62') to bring them back a bit, see how they smoke in a few weeks suppose:

Smell better today after burping. Hopefully continue in that way but I am concerned I knackered them right at the end of the grow.

You live and learn...

Yep, the facts of life homie!
We have all been there.

Any updates? How are the flowers?

[climbit]

Where these autoflowers?

[lenhug]

Hey there, sorry for lack of update as away for Chrimbo. Back in a few days.

But quickly, yes they were autos and only done a quick tester on the GL and it was surprisingly nice. Lovely, earthy flavour and good, clean high.

I'm still suspicious I messed up but will test some more (and the GG4) when back...

@ENKI

I've just realised you might have also meant what the flowers are actually like in hand as it were after all the issue at the end.

Well, I know the boveda packs get some stick but they have worked wonders here and all of the flowers are now nicely dry/cured but a little squeezable for won't of a better description and certainly looking and feeling far better than they were. So the curing process seems to have done the trick along with the humidity packs.
