I cut 15" squares of a truck bed liner to lay on the floor under each plant my thinking is this will give the smart pots a place for water to go and allow air to the bottom as well. I reset everything and I like it.

Now they need watering and I will give them the first flowering nute mix. I am still trying to figure out which hours I want to be my dark hours. I know some say lights at night so your not heating the house up while trying to cool it too. I like lights on while I'm awake giving me more access. The flip starts Tonight !!!:party1:
Hell yea! Let's get it! That was a good idea with the bedliner

I like that idea too.
Quick question guys. Since my plants started getting larger my larger lower fan leafs hang downward from the main stem like they are too heavy. Is this normal?
It can happen. Just as long as most of the plant is perked up then it's usually some leaves that never ever get enough light. Pictures would be better to judge though.
Damn another question I finally got my molasses how do I use it? How much and how do I get it dissolved into the mix?
When using molasses the general rule of thumb is 5-15ml per gallon. I like to think less is more so I usually go for 5ml when using it. Just pour it into your water and mix it up. Alternatively you can pour it in to a small glass of water to mix up and then poor it into your watering reservoir or whatever container you use if that makes things more manageable.

I'm glad you guys liked the liner pads, it tells me I'm firing on at least 1 cylinder.

I will make sure to take pictures tonight of the leafs in question as well as the last night of veg for the ladies.

Ok I worked until lights out. My nice looking canopy looks terrible due to me moving the plants around today while taking them off the milk crates and again tonight when I watered them. Nothing I can do about it until tomorrow afternoon.

As cool as it looks to me to have plants this size I hate having to move them to water them but I can't reach through them nor water from top. Oh well it will come out how it does.

Now this plant is an unknown strain because it came up in a group of pods I had given up on and dumped to together. You can tell its a sativa dominant by its skinny leaves. It been on the back roll and it was stretching and staying with the other and I let it slip past me that it was not filling out like the others it is the ones with the fan leafs hanging downward. I feel I may have missed something here.

I just went back and looked at some notes. This plant came from a seed I planted and later found but i broke its stem when it on had 4 leafs and was a couple inches tall. I cut the stem above the break and dipped it in Clonex and stuck it in the dirt. so is it a clone? So might that have something to do with its look?

now you know why i said having a too populagted room wasnt a good idea.. You think its hard now, wait till 7 weeks into flower when there is heavy ass wet buds hanging, threatening to break all the branches... good luck

ok at least I haven't killed it as hard as it thinks I have tried lol. Look again at my last post I added another paragraph

Regardless of it being a clone or not that just happens to be her growth structure for the current environment. Shes not hurting. She might want some more light but she's still healthy.

You should get a photo of the full cannopy for us.:smoking:

I am working on a watering wand that will let me water them without moving them. I don't mind the work of moving them to water them I just hate pulling them apart.

Thanks. She is almost directly under the light now.

good morning broken.. thought id stop in and say hi. hope you are having a phenomenal day.

chris.
Hey Chris thanks for stopping in, I am good at the moment. I completely stopped one of the meds I am coming off of Monday night and sleep is hard to come by. Sweating quite a bit but it will get better. I still give you Mad props on your garden. I have use of all my body but trying not to screw it up makes my head hurt lol. Hope you have a great day.

I will try to get pictures of the canopy today.

Ok everyone How close should my 600w lights be?

18-24 inches from the canopy seems to be the general rule of thumb for 600w. Some can do a bit closer if their ambient room temperature is low enough. If you go too close you can end up light bleaching or burning the tops. Too far and you miss out on light intensity and yield.

Well I have it figured out I think. I will water from a 5 gallon bucket sitting on the table. I bought an valve called an Italian Bottling Spigot from a local home brew shop.

This connects threw the side of the bucket and a hose is connected to it. At the other end of the hose I have everything to make the wand from. I will be using 1/2" pvc down to the head I am making. I will take a picture when I get it all put together.

The T will be connected to a length of grey rigid PVC will a ball valve in it so I can easily turn it on and off. The shape will allow me to move it right up against the stem of the plant and water the backside and sides of the pot. This will be connected to a hose and then to the spigot on the side of the bucket. The PVC wand head will have tiny holes drilled in its bottom side and when the valve is opened gravity should take care of the rest. I would have built it tonight but the wife hates the smell of the primer and glue.

@jipp this is what I was talking about you making to make it easier to water.

Big pharm only gives a shit about making repeat customers. Which keeps them making more money. Pills that make you addicted or check out depression pills most of them list Depression as a side effect. On top of that being over weight can cause one to be depressed especially in women and 98% of of depression meds cause weight gain which keeps them depressed causing them to contine to be depressed and buying the pills.

You can build a wand like I am and connect your straight to your water hose. as long as you do a mock up you can even make the wand head at the angle that works best for you from a sitting position.

Have a great day brother.

yeah man.. im down to 195 or so.. i was almost three hundred pounds.. now im almost six foot5. so it did not lookj like i was over weight just big.. but holy shit after i got off the pills a little exercise, and now my body feels better.. the bst thing about getting off the pills.

i have energy.. i use to drink so much sugar shit to try and be active.. was a losing battle. i had high blood pressure, etc.. they through so many pills at me to combat the side effects o the other pills. and doctors did not care..

yeah my depression is still here but i have found if i focus my mind on learning its helping but down time sucks i think to much now.

so a good dab is much needed from time to time and ill be growing a sativa for depression soon ( i have too i have no idea how long it will last.. i was told withdrawals would be 6months.. so hopefully that is part of it.. but hard to say) i have too.

chris.

well first attempt was a failure. The hose I was using was a 3/8" ID hose and the spigot proved to not allow enough water to flow. So I am going to get a bulkhead fitting and use a piece of water hose and see how that goes. I wish my water's ph was a bit lower. So I could go straight from the wall.

I did change the lights over to HPS
