just keep an eye on your slurries, i slurry before every feed, i don't do each pot, just 1 or 2, or if a plant looks funny. This time i will do it by strain till i get a feel for them

Probably do a herc flush. Then start at half strength nutes. Definitely get some microbes in the soil. Any idea what it was being fed?

Not exactly sure what he was using but most likely Botanicare, GH, AN, along those lines. When I brought it home it was in straight Coco in a small 10" pot, didn't do a slurry because it was all roots. I transplanted it into a 3 gallon pot in #4 soil amended with one shot, then watered with a mixture of Bigfoot, Dr Root, and slf 100. Yesterday It needed watered again, I cut my tap water with distilled to about 70 PPM then added a 1/4 tsp per gallon of Medusa's, Gaia, Zeus, and slf 100 ph'd to 6.4. Also this morning foliar fed Athenas, Poseidon, Zeus, and hygeia at half strength. I'm thinking I may need a herc flush to get things in order.

It wasn't receiving much attention when I got it, if you look closely there's a couple ugly leaves.

In the Bible, Scott suggests flushing at least twice and then start at half like dreamnfox said.

Aahh!! You're right. Got the Bible in front of me and still missed it thanks alot!!! Next watering will be a flush. What you think, 2 Tbl herc 1 tsp slf 100 @ 6.4 ph a couple times? I got some microbes in there with the transplant and also a light feed so I should be able to flush a couple times no problem. One last question I've been wanting to ask and always forget, when you're starting a plant do you slowly increase the ppms of your tap water diluting it with distilled or do you start off within the recommended range?

I don't personally dilute to control the ppm's. I'd think you'd be just fine going within the recommended range especially at this stage of growth.

I know for the big plant I could start off with my full strength tap water, but when they're seedlings in cups when do you guys introduce tap water into your feeds? I've always used distilled and Dr Root for a week, then week 2 about the same maybe distilled and a light feed, but once they go into the 5 gals I start the regimen mixed with tap. I have to admit this is my 1st time using #4 soil and one shot. Last run I used coco loco and didn't have to feed for weeks. thanks.

I just use filtered water. Mostly to remove the chlorine

I'd like to use distilled honestly but I don't know exactly how to build it up to work with this line. Before using nectar I would just use Botanicare Cal Mag and distilled instead of tap. So with my tap water now I just let it sit out for 24 hours with an AirStone going to get rid of chlorine. The ppm's are a little high also maybe I'll invest in a filter for my faucet.

If you want to use distilled, I would imagine it wouldn't be too different from an RO schedule. You might want to check out the Bill Burns schedule. He does a lot with blank water and his comments are pretty insightful.

Just checked that out. I've never seen that one. Thanks for that. I may use that soon. Iblike the idea of knowing exactly to the ppm what's in my water.

Man I really wanna start foliar feeding the big plant Bloom khaos to keep it from stretching. its a sativa so it'll probably triple in size. I gotta do another herc flush to be safe. Maybe a feed also. Still cautious with it. I've seen what it does to under fed plants. When I flip it to flower soon I may have to put it in my bathroom or closet for darkness while my other plants are still vegging at 18 hours on. It's gonna be a hassle I don't see any other way.

Here's an idea: Take a clone of her for this run, then keep her in veg in another space. Then use her as a mother plant for your next run.

That is a good thought I have been wanting to try to clone with nectar. To be honest I've never taken a clone at all. It's a clone itself can you clone a clone? I could take a clone and once I know it's rooted I can just get rid of the bigger plant that way all my plants are the same size in the same area try to get the same shape. Something to think about. Seems like I always bite off more than I can chew always been that way. Thanks

Yes, for sure you can clone a clone. Quality can degrade over many generations, but nothing to worry about at this point. If that strain is fire, you can fill the tent with clones from the mother on your next run.

I should, I could. I think by the end of the summer it would be taller than my garage. How do you think these Greenpoint genetics are going to be? I'm wondering how difficult the purple cake and purple crunch are going to be and if they're sensitive to bk. They say og strains are but last run was Gelat OG and no issues.
