Hey bud weren't you giving me a hard time a week or so ago in a different thread??? Lol no worries my guy I don't take anything to heart... And i try to share my knowledge with as many people as i can...
I should let u know that this is my first run using the bennies in the UC but its going absolutely amazing..
My nute schedule is really quite easy I follow the recommended dosing of Cultured solutions nutes..I'm only using CS veg and CS flower and will add CS Boost when need be... DO NOT USE CS ROOTS/DM Zone/H2o2 or any other "root zone conditioner" while using caps bennies... CS nutes are the only nutes I would use at recommended strength all other nutes should only be used at 50% of recommended strength
I flush every 8 days (flush meaning I drain out about 90% of the water in the UC and then fill the UC with tap water that has sat out atleast 24 hrs to kill off most the chlorine in it.. I use my bathtub for this, most people will use a 50gallon water drum Rez).
After the UC is filled with the water I add the CS nutes as recommended on the back of the bottle...
Last I dump in caps bennies, I have been brewing/making the Tea that he suggests with the bennies.. It's not very hard at all but it does have to brew for 24hrs so brew the day before you plan on adding it.. My system holds roughly 80gallons of water I add 1 cup of the Bennie Tea for every 5 gallons of water.. So in my system I add 16cups of Tea 1 cup every minute right into my epicenter bucket...
No, I was considering putting lava rocks in either the bottoms of the net pots or in mesh bags suction cupped to the bottoms of each 8 gallon bucket..However since i change out the bennies every 7-8 days i feel they dont really have enough time to colonize and even if they do they would be washed out each time i flush the system... I may possibly add lava rock in the future once i get comfortable with them but right now i dont see it necessary..do you have any type of biological media for your bennies to colonize ?
Take out some of the bottom foliage and lower level branches that dont get light and that will help too.
thanks bro.... im really excited to see these ladies pack on sum weight... My past 2 runs in the UC i ran a extremly potent but crappy yielding Extrema from Sannie...hell yea, lookin good!
thanks cap .. im really excited to see this crop finish up.. Im also gonna be stoked to see the roots after i chop them down, I havent looked at the since the last time i posted those pics of them... I got the old snap on lids and the white buckets, so the only way i can check the roots is to lift up the net pot and look but i obviously cant lift out the pot right now...beautiful plants Baby!!!!
Looks like a winning crop to me. just a few more weeks to go!
Thanks bro :) I normally use the Burpee Tomato Cages to help them with support, However when i grew this Fugu Kush out from seed it BARELY stretched and had nice fat stems the buds supported themselves easily... This same strain in hydro has now stretched and grew atleast 2.5x since the flip... To give a perspective they were waist tall day 1 flower, and now the highest tops are about a foot over my head (im 5'8") I am kicking myself for not using the cages now.... O well though these stems are insanely thick though so hopefully they will be able to support the buds without flopping over everywhere..What kind of support do you use for your crop? Or are they strong enough to hold up on their own? Looks killer bruh!!
take more shots like the last one. White balance is perfect there. Looking good man!
You deserve a nice camera after the hard work,......Thanks for the bennies in the UC info, also here are a few questions: are you putting the bennie Tea into the Res or are you crown feeding it onto the tops of the roots? If your putting it into the Res does it shift the Ph much/at all? Did you folar feed during this grow/ when did you stop?
Im sure ill thik up a few more, thank you for the SHOW!!!!
