May I suggest trial and error you will get lots of opinions here @Edinburgh is not wrong ! However we tend to disagree a lot and we both have awsome results !

I’ve set a couple outside with success the worst problem was with pest control ! Got monster I’m sitting outside to finish as I just don’t have the space

I never said you cant run autoflowers out doors, the problem is the yield, its not all that much, and even less out doors, autos tend to be suceptable to mold and pests, that said there are strains that are tuff and can handle it but those are the exeption, I live in CT in summer we have days of 90 degrees in a row with brutal rh as high as mid 70s, were i am i cant see any autoflower surviving those conditions, but if you in an environment were its cool and breezy and you have a tuff strain, go for it, even when i put photoperiod plants outside i have to hunt for a strain that can take 90f+ days we ave 30+and can go as high as 100f not to mention humidity and pests, im not saying it cant be done, or even done well, im saying it cant be done were im at is all, i have seen some awsome autos grown outdoors mostly super autos, and i never tell anyone what to do, i only advised that autos do not do as well outside as they do inside with a controlled environment, if you want to throw them outside thats fine.

As far as seedling health and light distance i have been saying you want ur seedling reaching for your light and not shying away from it, at the same time you do not want ur seedling to strech, this pic is an 8 day old seedling note the leaves are pointing up to the light? But not shying away, when they first pop my light 600w led is backed off to 34inc above canopy, as soon as it emerges from the tabs and starts it's 2nd set i bring the light down to 24inc above canopy, sidelight comes later, allso different lights will have a different sweet spot but if your unsure this is what you want to see the little leaves pointing up to the light and not bending away from it, seedling is red poison.

Hmmm, day 42, plant is most definitely on the large side, all leaves have either 3 or 5 nodes, allso most nodes are uneven, plant is growing like a beanstalk, its in flower, branch growth is disappointing, it looks like an indica but is growing like a sativa, does not matter i still think plant is behind and will leave in veg till day 60 or 65, plant is perfectly healthy and happy, rh was low in beginning but is ok now, i dont think its anything i did, at least its in flower, a weird strain, oh well nothing to do but wait and see.

No its the strain it is running funy, you should be seeing much better branch growth, no uneven nodes and leaves with 7 and or 9 nodes, i think its genetic. But i went this far and flower is flower.

Looks good and healthy though! What strain ? Looks like some haze I’ve grown? Ur on that Sativa leaner side looks like it’s gonna be a nice bud! curious to see how she finishes.

Its samsqatch og by Methisto, thats why i feel its genetic, some of there strains are sativa and they grow slower than an indica, the bottom branches are a bit better, most plants i grow are indica dom, they are medium height and tend to be stocky plants, the reason i feel its genetic is bc of the leaves, most all plants have leaves with nodes that have 7 and or 9, i have only 3 and 5 + leaves are uneven on the mainstem, the plant is large but branch growth is slow, i may have made a mistake by putting plant in 5gal pot, but specs said plant was large and it is, will just leave in veg an extra 10 days and see what happens, thats another thing about autoflowers is that if they do not get the beans just right weird things happen at least it is flowering, it does stink but will have to wait and see, i dont blame Methisto it could very well be me as i have had issues with rh.

Even good genetics have variations , this is just one variation even though it may not be what you were lookin for I think she’s pretty.

Yea im not blaming methisto i did have rh issues and did put plant in 5gal pot but the reason i said genetics is bc all leaves have nodes of 3 and 5, no 7 or 9, plus they are uneven on the mainstem, bottom branches are a bit better and i still think it is about 10 days behind, will just leave in veg longer is all, plant is healthy and happy it may just be a slowpoke and it is a big plant so it might be chasing itself, no big deal if they dont get the beans just right weird things can happen, and it is in flower so will just have to wait and see.

My boy just bough 10lbs of jack herrer, came by and threw me a 1/2 oz, he does that once in a while to keep customer happiness, looks and smells great, one strain i have not got around to growing yet, so i now get a chance to see if its worth it. + i give him my weed all the time and he wants to buy from me but i only grow for my own needs but i bless him.

Thank you but i bealive plant is 10 days behind and is chaseing herself, i have no problem leaveing in veg for 60+ days bc plant is large, healthy, and happy, plant looks like indica leaves but is growing like a sativa, if they do not get the beans just right weird things happen but plant stinks and does have flower so we will just have to wait and see, bottom branches are a bit better, but only 3 or 5 nodes on leaves is off, uneven leaves on mainstream is off, branch growth is disappointing, but plant can certainly take a 100+ day run, it may be my fault bc of low rh that has now corrected itself, the plant is genetically off but may come together and i will get some nugs but how much remains to be seen, since branch growth is slow you leave it in veg till hopefully will come together, but will not flip to bloom bc i dont want trichome to start till plant is ready.

Yea i am now convinced my plant is around 10 days behind, branches are growing slowly however the size of the leaves emerging from the flower are pretty big and show no sighns of slowing, flower is growing more and more by the day, no spurt just slow steady growth, leaves are all un even on mainstream and have only 3 or 5 nodes, plant is topping off and now branches are starting to grow, a slowpoke witch i have no problem leaveing in veg till day 60 or 65 before i start to flower it, and have no problem running till day 100 or behond bc of huge size of plant, bc of large pot size i bealive the plant is chaseing herself, and yea they do have a limited life span but i have run autoflowers up to day 110, plant has allso turned into a pig wanting water and a bit of food every 2 or 3 days, rh has now improved, and little red poison seems happy but will be smallish bc i put it in a 21/2 gal pot bc i am running low on medium and need the last 3 gallons for what im gonna run next no more 5gal pots ill stick with 3gal, so tell me what should be next, Skywalker? Fantismo express? Sodk? Creme de la chem× Fantismo express? Avt× 3 Bears? Sour Stomper× Double Grape? Creme de la Chem? Pink lemonade? I should do a survey lol.

Ok yea i think i was right the plant was in such a big pot she has been chasing herself bc in my estimation she is about 10 to 15 days behind, will run in veg till day 65 no problem bc plant is in great health and bc is so large i have no problem running 100 days, plant is now a pig wanting water and a bit of food every 3 days, so be it, plant is finally starting to come together, allso note size of sugar leaves.

Week 8, plant is coming together nicely, was forced to start flowering bc plant was producing trichome, allso pruned or de defoliated most of the fans bc there was no way my little bloom light was gonna penetrate that plant, no matter, branch growth was disappointing but plant is big is flowering and is happy, like 1 giant cola bud lol, flower is forming structure and enhancing, not to shure if this is how it's supposed to run but whatever, plant smells allot. Jeeeez plant is so tall had 2 take 2 pics first pic top 2nd pic bottom, i guess it knows what it's doing, it should all come together and if nugs are compact will get some weight.
