you can def see some of UD in the Foo! Nice piks bro. cant wait. this dropp will go down in history, as being released and gone like that!poof, super fast!Ive already started popping the beans so it shouldnt be too long, but thats in breeder talk, and with so much time between run that can be awhile. But Ive already started and for the record. The columbia x CDD. These sativas didnt come from amsterdam so no worries about them just being reworked the same ole shit.
Attached are a pic of my HB aka UD and the Foodog done indoors. With UD as pic #1 and foodog #2

Loompa man I love your Chemdog D you have , and chance of seeing her crossed back to the Yeti Daddy >? I know the world is full of Chem OG X's .. but your's would be absolutely kill .
Peace
JJ
I'm confident you'll be successful Loompa, and don't worry about the 18 weekers. I guess, it should be quite hard to avoid lenghty phenos in a f1 cross… unless the Vietnam male is highly recessive, but that's not the plan, right?
I know I'd like to see both Underdawg and Vietnamese phenos in the offspring. And the same goes for the Chemdog x Columbian Gold line. So a nice polyhybrid with good variation would be perfect for me!
Anyway, I'll take a sit and wait patiently for the day you'll be ready to release these sativa lines! Wishing you the best of luck for all your new projects.
Hello loompa! I don't know if you'ld be interested or not but I have a pack of unopened love potion #1 seeds from reeferman if you want them you can have them if not then it's all goodThe only current project with the Chemdog D is to cross her to Columbian Gold. We are however in the process of obtaining more old school genes to bring back into the gene pool, So there are definately going to be some work done with her on some old school genes, just haven't figured out what to do yet. We have alot of work on our plates and dont know if Ill get to working her with something other than the lumbo gold. Of course she will need to be worked a bit, I know what Im looking to do with that cross, so its just a matter of time.

Indeed sounds great loompa!!Thats very generous of you. And I think Id like to take you up on that. I do know the current Lumbo Im working with is highly inbred with little to no variation, but it is still great ganja, but to introduce into the same line reefermans love potion might bring back more of those lumbo traits. And of course Ill hook you up fat for helping out and contributing to what we are doing. Hit me up in PM and we will talk.
Loompa:)
I know you said you don't like the sweet tart/candy phenos in your underdawg offspring but what about a sister line that accentuates the candy phenos but retains the underdawg potency?
Depending on how BB the BB is, the BB x Underdawgs could throw tasty phenos too. Im just one of those personally that enjoys the earthy kushy OG notes and potency but sometimes could go for some more intense/different flavors. Sweet tart and candy OGs sound awesome in my book.
Kali Mist lives :cool:All very good questions. And I agree about having good variation. I dont plan on IBLing anything, I like variety and I like to keep as much of the gene pool locked up in a seed line. Im tired of breeders losing/dropping genes in favor of commercial qualities. So I like to maintain some variation to maintain those genes that are locked up instead of breeding them all out and losing them forever. Just look at the current market and you can see all the breeders choosing for different traits than I breed for and then we as a collective lose them forever. Like the real deal old school piney ghani's, roadkill, bunk BB gum genes from amsterdam, anyone remember the real old school Kali mist that was super uber dank...well thats gone now also, And the list goes on. I dont want to lose all those traits so I try not to work a line too much. Id like to get things to a point where as a consumer you can still get great keepers out of one pack of beans, but still maintain some variety because everyone looks for different characteristics and I think it is healthier in the big picture to keep and maintain specific genes that so easily get lost when breeders breed for yield and quick finishing times and dropping those heavy hitters and aroma profiles. So you will not see me IBLing much, I will work to stabilize lines but I will never breed everything out of it.
Kali Mist lives
This makes me sooo happy to read Loompa! Bring back the old school I have been yearning for! All your ideas sound great. The piney Ghani, GSC hybrids, and high CBD line all has me very excited for the future!
this post spawned curiosity regarding the sweet tart / candy pheno's of your offspring:
why is it you avoid them?
is it the flavor? or the type of high? potency?
would love to hear your thoughts on this
thank you

What is the make up of your Headband f2 that Medic and Freak had? It was before the name change but are they the same as the Yeti f2? Figured I'd ask since you've been online a little more lately!
Amen brother. You know whats up. Man I salivate just thinking about those lost phenos and genetic diversity that we used to see. Of course I can't do everything, but I can do my part when I can. And trust me man, Im looking forward to seeing those piney ghani's again more than you can know. That was some dank..oh man, so many dankness is all gone. And it still irks me that skunkman says he has old backstock beans with roadkill genes but since he's not interested in working them, he's gonna let them rot.
