ToK stands for Talk of Kabul. It is and IBL from Afganistan in 96.It was taken in a raid by US Special Forces from a warlord who was supporting the Taliban from the sales of hash and opium. He was also a low level Member of the Afgan Goverment and after several tries at a joint operation that failed, US Special Forces payed him a visit. He had been raided before by the Soviets and his ansesters had even been raided by the Romans but up to this point they had always evaded capture and kept seed stock intact. Not this time however! Everything else besides the small sample of seed I got from a friend in Army Intel was destroyed. One of the things that makes this strain so different is it was from such a remote area it didn`t get crossed with other kush genetics like most crops in the kush range. My friend couldn`t pronounce the name it was given by the locals so it was named after the influence the hashish had at tea houses in and around Kabul.I also got some samples of the poppie seeds but they turned out to be China White, while they are premium quality poppies ,they are not all that rare except perhaps in Afganistan.

Make sure to drop off the nutes a little early and give it a good flush and long cure for better flavor.Sometimes ToK can get a little nasty in flavor but it makes up in punch.

Sounds good Mark. Thanks for the great details. Like any good story it leads to a lot of questions!

Seems like a classic Afghani with a harsh, sour, acrid taste but lots of punch on the brain as you stated!

Yes that`s kind of like what I`m talking about! The Warlord is almost the same genetics but was a lowland version of Tok with some other influences.Tok is stronger in both flavor and head.I made some hash from it once and it made me so F*@King high! Just one Tok of hash made me sick and up chucking. But strangely going back for another hit.Seems my head said yes when my body said enough! The buds of ToK are covered in a sick looking yellow velet coating of trec`s and it does smell sickning.Very high in THC.

I find a good shot of single malt just before a hit of Tok will help with the flavor just about as good as it does with Haggis! :)

Not sure cause I haven`t had any responses back from the clubs in Sac yet except one that was intrested in my pre 98 just for there own growing/cloning project. Also gas is so `F`ing high these days!

I also wanted to let you know that ToK has a second pheno type that has been described as "fruitty under tones with Black Licorice flavor" Although both phenos are dank I really like the nastly better myself ,that`s after you get used to the flavor a little. Just seems a little stronger to me.

Got the stuff from Bart today so the search is on. What are the chances we'll find both a male and female roadkill pheno to show its self? I might not get any sleep tonight thinking about it! lol
