New Journal - Blueberry x White Widow & Stardawg

This was the smallest and most undeveloped Bud in the bunch. I honestly should have just cut this one. I go and measure the moisture and it’s at 11%. I figure I’ll take this small larfy and try it out. I throw it in my grinder and sure as fuck one seed 🤣...

I figure I’ll take this small larfy and try it out. I throw it in my grinder and sure as fuck one seed 🤣 man oh man I really hope that isn’t a sign for what the future holds. I don’t think so I probably just missed a nanner with her being so small and hidden.

But either way, the smell is comparable to diesel and grape and the high is nice and mellow, just what I need for work. The one I’m taking longer will hopefully be my after work weed 😂 I’ll have a better smoke report in the future just thought I’d share my laugh

My first plant had seeds but the bud was still good. I kept some seeds for a rainy day. I tried sprouting one to see if they were viable. Took over a month and I actually forgot about it until my wife asked if I knew there was a plant growing lol. Whoops.

Hahaha I’m kind of secretly happy I got a seed since I don’t have any more of the Stardawgs, definitely going to grow it again lol

Tomorrow is chop day for the other Stardawg. The one Stardawg drying should be done by tomorrow, currently sitting at 14% on the moisture meter.

One of the plants I just harvested was a clone of my seedy plant. I watched it like a hawk, it developed no seeds and the bud is fire, so it just needed me to gtfo the way. I was bummed at first but worked out better in the end tbh.

Fat happy buds bro 💪🏼 they look so good 😍
Hell yeah bro, I’m not big on touching them but I couldn’t resist giving one a squeeze, and rock hard!!!
They really look amazing. Absolute prime buds Schwif.
Thank you so much bro, here’s hoping the cure comes through and can call this a success!

Final Stardawg is chopped and hung to dry!

I trimmed and bagged the first ones late last night, I’m exhausted. Final moisture % on my meter using the wood setting was 14% and stems snapped, right at 7 days with 60f-60% humidity. The final weight on the first plant is 49.6 grams. Definitely could’ve added to the weight, but I wanted to see how it smoked at 7.5 weeks. I’ll be honest, it’s still really strong. It’s very creeper and hits you with a really really strong high within 20 min and slowly fades and calms down and is very mellow and relaxing. I still have a bit to cure, but the smoke is very smooth yet thick on the palette with the taste of grape, diesel and a slight hint of pepper. The smell is a sweet berry pepper, it’s freaking wild. Will give a full detail write up of each one in a month or two when we cure them all.

Right now Blueberry Windows are the only ones left and will push to 10-11 week mark.

Day 61 flower

One of the Blueberry widow is finishing strong 💪 the other just visually doesn’t do it for me and can tell it’s going to be a BITCH to trim and clean.

Watered today and don’t think I’ll need to do another nutrient feeding before finishing.

Whatever you're doing, keep doing it buddy. They love you.
Thank you bro!! Wish I could say the same for the other, it was either a bad pheno or it didn’t like something, here’s what she looks like right now

Those are some sexy colas bro! I hope she smokes as good as she looks 😍
Haha hell yeah thanks man!! I am hoping so too, they smell very unique I can’t even put my finger on it right now. But these bids are dense as hell right now

Journals coming to an end, and the Blueberry widow is finished. Trichomes are majority cloudy and the smell is mesmerizing right now. If the final Stardawg is done drying by this weekend I will chop. Otherwise I’ll just hold off until she’s done drying before I chop chop.

Stardawgs are now on day 4 of drying and been holding steady this cycle with 55f-55% humidity. Buds are thicker on this one so may take up to 10 full days to get to 14% moisture.

Those girlss really stacked up nice for you, good shit man. Since you're winding down, I'm curious to hear what you maybe learned or took away from this grow that you would apply to the next. If you dont mind sharing.

Thanks man, and really appreciate the question.

To start, this was a first for me in a grow tent and a first for me with LEDs.

The hardest part for me in this grow was dialing in my light distance and intensity.

What also was a struggle, was growing 2 different strains. The LEDs made it hard to grow multiple strains and pheno because they didn’t all like same intensity. The high intensity caused me very quickly to get deficiencies that I barely managed to stay ahead of.

With my next grow, I am growing the same strain. They’re seeds so a couple of variations in pheno but overall think I’ll have better luck dialing in the light this time.

Another struggle was, I didn’t buy all the parts before starting the grow. I had to buy it in pieces but it eventually came together near the end.

With all of that being said, I definitely learned a lot regarding reading my plants better, and I also had my first run with finding nanners so that is something I can knock off the list of things I haven’t experienced.

It’s starting to warm up, so now I’m going to mainly have to worry and fight for pests in this next cycle and keep things really really clean. Thankfully I have an AC unit now so I barely have to open this tent which helps a lot.

Cheers brother!

One exciting thing for myself as a noob, is how with each grow I'm learning major stuff that I know will make a big difference the next time. Good luck w the rest of your harvest, give a shout if you start up another.

Hell yeah bro!!! Every grow we will learn something new, if you don’t you’re not trying.

Oh bro, I’ve already started my next run and the journal is going on. It’s in my signature, but if you’re on the phone you most likely won’t see it. But I’m growing 4 Trustfall genetics Grape Creme Cake x Okie. They just got the name Frostette and so far so good :) just about to start the tops on these girls!
