Hello!
I am new to hydro growing and i seem to have some problems.
The ph keeps rising and i don't know how to fix that. Every day i have to add ph down to the nutrieny solution
And my plants don't seem to be doing verry well. I am using the 3 part fertilizer from advanced nutrients, a little below the recommended dosages. I really need some help here. I don't know that much about hydro and i don't want my plants to die.

This are some photos...

Im assuming your dwc with a small res. You lack water volume and alkalinity. Are you using ro water? Can we see some pics of your setup?

Generally ph rising is good.

So what do your roots look like? Also give more details. We need ppms, water temps, room temps, room humidity, what kind of light you using? U using RO water? Do you use calmag?

And no. I am using tap water...

And no. I am using tap water...
How many gallons does it hold and what week are you at? I use 5 gallon per plant for veg, and 10 gallons per plant for flower. I have 6 plants with a res of 30 gallons for veg, and another system with 6 plants and 60 gallons for flower. My ph slowly rises as the days go on. I have to ajust ph down every 4 days. So yea, in your small setup, you will be ajusting ph daily. That is why I hated dwc and small pots. I would reccommend building a larger setup like whats in my signature. Good luck buddy. . but yes, its only gonna get worse.

Now I also would say you have some nutrient uptake issues going on too.

So yea, you got the makings of root rot it looks like. If you touch that ball of roots, is it a little slimey?

You need hydroguard since your not running a chiller. 77 water temps is warm, but doable if you have BBS cleaning your root zone.

So id also go ahead and wrap that entire pot and lid in a towel. You got some light leaks through your netpot and through your airlines. That is what promotes root rot. Without light leaks, its very hard to get rot imo.

IF they are slimey, gently massage them. Also you need to find the advanced nutrients thread and find a dwc guy in there that uses them. Your ppms are way to high, but your plants dont look burnt so im a bit confused. Id be running 400ppms at that stage if I were you, but im ro water.

Also what is the PPM of your tap water?

I don't know the galon conversion but i have 20 liters buckets..

The roots are not slimey. The tap water... You can see in the photo. I don't know how to keep the water temp down. And the humidity in the tent up... And i think it's to late now to move them in soil....

Yea they are 5 gallon, and im sure you dont keep them completly full like most dwc. I dont think you lack alkalinity due to using tap water and have such high ppms. I just think your capacity is low. DWC is very hands on. You couldnt pay me to run multiple dwc buckets right now. Id rather go buy the shit at the dispensary lol. That light you got is killer though.

If you want to fix all this, you have to hook up a external res and water pump. Get some bulkheads online and plumb it all together. Id start mentally planning it now, that way when these are done, you can build it all.

I plan on doubling my water capacity lol. I want 6 plants in 120 gallons of nutrient water. Atm I can go on vacation for 4 days deep flower and ph only rose from 5.5 to 5.8. Im trying to go on vacation for 2 weeks ya know. . not 4 days. My goal was to build a very hands off hydroponic system, and ive been quite successfull thus far. The biggest issue with hydro is the maintenance. LIve and learn buddy.

Also I like flora trio, calmag and hydroguard. You cannot go wrong with those nutrients because all of us use them. So easy to troubleshoot. . Plants dont mind a switch either

Ok so if they are not slimey, your mixing your ratios wrong. They do not have enough of something. Im not the guy who knows advanced nutrients though :( But yea dont worry about your roots, i mean go ahead and fix the light leaks, but if you say they are not slimey then dont put more thought into them.

So last up is your deficiencies. Search Advanced nutrients on this site, and see what others are mixing it at. Ive never actually seen someone run this high of PPMs.

Again, my fix would be to use RO water, flora trio, calmag and hydroguard.

Like i said i am new. I don't know what ro water is and how to make it...

with dwc you lose water every day so before doing any adjustment you should bring the water to the levels. since the roots grow, you can lower the water level with every rez water change.
what is your water ph, ppm was at 600

Atthis moment i have this
So id make a new thread focused on your nutrients, only way to draw in the right people.
Like i said i am new. I don't know what ro water is and how to make it...
So Ro water is filtered water, Distilled watered is evaporated water. Both contain a PPM below 10. Right now your tap water is over 600ppm. My ro water is 7ppm. I then add Calmag to 100ppm, then I add my nutrients in which gets me to 500ppm for veg and about 800ppm for flower. I then have aquarium strips that test the Nitrate and Nitrite levels. I have strips to test Potassium and Phosphate. My ppm falls from 800 down to 500 over a weeks time, I then test and add which every nutrients has the lowest ppm levels.

You can buy distilled water at walmart for now, but the kits on amazon are around 50 bucks and well worth it. 3 stage RO filter kit, under sink. I would youtube it before purchasing. I didnt enjoy hooking it up, and then you need a holding tank. I have a spare 55 gallon tank in my grow room that holds RO water. Click on my signature for my goodies to see what i mean.

Basically your at the hardest spot, if you work through it, and upgrde you system for your next grow, it gets easier.

you need a water chiller to keep the water cooled or have something blowing outside air to it and thats how i kept it cooled.
your humidity is too low so your vpd is out of range, hence why the plant is not looking sharp. She also looks to light green but that could be how the picture was taken since the ppm is at 1366

Lol thats his tap water ppms, his actually ppms of solution are almost 1400 for those tiny plants, and they still dont look nutrient burnt, more like they dont have enough of something. .wild i tell ya wild
