So I have not ever grown, am I getting into too much by doing hydro? I'm looking at getting a 5x5 gorilla tent and their hydro recirculating dwc 6 bucket setup, gorilla hydro clone/seedling tent, mammoth 8 led, and aci hvac and controller. Any advice, suggestions, or links would be greatly appreciated as I am looking at close to 3k on this purchase... thanks in advance!!
I'm a new hydro grower. I bought a 4 bucket 5 gal. dwc system and a 4x4 tent. I only started 2 buckets. Big learning curve. I had bad meters and with my inexperience one of them died. The survivor is in trouble because I stopped giving nutrients in what i thought was week 7th of flowering, thinking she only had 2 more weeks to harvest based on the seed profile. I was not taking into acct that just because I switched to 12/12 light schedule...she didnt magically start flowering. It can take a couple weeks (?)
to actually flower. Now her leaves have yellowed some have fallen off. Based on the trichomes, harvest is still a ways out. I wasn't sure what to do so I started giving her some hydrogro bloom. Not sure what to expect at this point, not sure if she'll make it to harvest. Tons of mistakes, but I'm not giving up. I'll try again for sure. Good luck, don't get discouraged with mistakes just learn from them.

I don't flush or stop nutrients at any point, there is some debate to this but I think it has been proven more bro science. Full nutes right up until chop, I've only done one RDWC grow so far but it turned out incredibly good, frosty as can be, very fruity smelling and very smooth smoke. Don't give up forsure, I definitely had some bumps in my first run and have had less in my second so that's progress. I am learning with RO water, my plants need way more cal mag than what my nutes are supplying. Hopefully your plants bounce back and give you a bountiful harvest.
