Hi guys ...
After a failed attempt a week or so back I have finally got things going.
I have a 80x80x160 tent with 4" fan and a 6" extractor.
I'm using a 125w duel cfl to get things going and will be adding a mars 300w in when I got a few sets of leaves.
So after my feeble attempt at my first seed in coya pot I decided to just plug one straight into my mix of 55%perlite 45% biobizz allmix
Photos above are what she is now after putting seed in on the 24th of March and watering with ph water and 0.5ml of algamic every 3 days.....any tips and advice will be most welcome

Fill the pot with more soil, it will stable that baby a little more. Keep it growing. Less water at the beginning, soggy equals slow growth, even death.

Thanks I'm watering so much because it's mostly perlite but I will fill pot up and try and leave it 4-5 days between watering

The easiest way to tell if a baby needs water is too look at the newest growth, the lighter green tells you it may want water. Deep green is to me a sign they are feeding fine.

So today as advised above I topped up the soil which has helped stabilise the stem and I also give her a water with algamic because it's been 4 days and she looked rather droopy this morning

excuse the towel lol trying to raise my rh as I top out at 40% ...pics are after she had watering

looking good. i recommend getting a fan so it makes the plant do a little jig.. the plants seem to respond well to a little genteel nudge from the magical wind.

these babys had some soft wind from teh get go even tho they are taller than most would like.. when i transplant ill take care of that.. but with out wind not sure they could of stand up like that is why im posting ity.. just do not b last them.. think of them as your own babys. :D

I have got a fan on them now and I got one at top of tent aswell so the air is circulated quite a bit ..
Your plants look strong ....hopefully mine keep going the way they are (nice and healthy)

So it's now 13 days since I planted a seed .
Still haven't given any nutrient as I'm using allmix and now watering every 4 days .
Humidity still a problem at the moment it's between 30 -50%
I think she is starting on her 4th set of leaves

Hi guys ....i woke up this morning and saw my plants leaves are looking pale
I have not to date added any bites as I'm using allmix but I'm at a loss as temps are good also my run off is in check .
The soil/ perlite was rather dry so gave her a water any suggestions would be a great help

So yesterday I give my baby half strength bio grow with top max because after some reading I thought nitrogen problems.
I'm assuming that she has exhausted the nutrient in the soil as it's mixed with 50% maybe more perlite ....so below

Well then today I decided to up my pot size because everything was bone dry again after two days So I mixed up some fresh allmix with perlite (only less of the perlite) and transplanted the little girl and to my surprise she had completely engulfed the soil with roots
After moving her I gave water ph 6.8 with added algamic to help her settle in quicker.
Hopefully this will bring her on some and get rid of the nitrogen def I had

Well it's been two days since I transferred the little lady to her bigger pot .temps and rh are good , haven't had to water again yet tho so I might just foliar spray some algamic .
I think she's looking good even if she is not deep green (still got slight nitrogen issue I think)
What do u all think?

and I've sorted my nitrogen problem with a bit of diluted urine (not nice but worked wonders )
I have now also added in an extra 6 inch fan and my 300w led to go with the 125w duel cfl

so the above pics are yesterday morning before I topped and watered.
It's 3 weeks since I planted a seed in soil temps are good and rh is ranging from 30-40% .
Barring the little nitrogen issue I had all seems to be going well I think

Your doing well mate.biobizz all mix isn't the greatest soil in my opinion.especially for seed starts but with more than 50% perlite added youv done well to do that in that soil as me and many others found all mix to have a terrible consistency .its not airy enough and is a bit easier to get damping off and shit wen planting small plants with small root systems.next time your buying soil I suggest canna pro+.it has a great consistency.its very spongey from the white peat in it and it's got as much goodies as all mix.
Your wee plant looks good though just make sure to let your medium dry out a good bit between watering .not to the extent your leaves are drooping but just wen the pot feels light.its just like feeling a milk carton to see how much is in.same principal.
