Wassup Farmers! I started a little grow in my window space seeing as I don't have any other space. I'm using a space that's about 49" long and about 16" deep, height is about 80". I use an organic soil mix made up of 50% worm castings mixed with 20%dolomitic lime and 20% store bought organic premixed soil (EB Stone from Armstrong). I added some agricultural sand, volcanic pumice, and charcoal which comprises the other 10% or so. I took that and mixed it 50/50 with some coco coir and then threw in perlite which was like 70% soil/coir mix and 30% perlite. I plan on feeding with the Earth Juice line. I germed seeds in napkins then sprouted in 16 oz. party cups with just store bought organic soil. I transplant them after two weeks and I'm currently starting to grow in 1 gallon fabric bags I got from magicgrowing.com (thanks NorCal215). I usually use about ten 26 watt CFLs for 10 plants and veg into about 4 weeks of growth. I recently bought two 68 watt CFL bulbs which cut out some 26 watt CFLs. I'll finish with a 400 watt HPS. It's the Lumatek with the 400/250watt dial HPS/MH conversion that also will go super lumen and a bat wing reflector. I have one active air intake with a 6" duct that comes from outside, then air just vents into my bedroom. I also have one 12" circulatory fan on the wall and a small 6" desk fan on the floor with my plants. My grow area is pretty hot so the temp usually hovers around 86 degrees but seeing as fall is here and winter is upon us I don't think temperature will be a problem too much longer. I'm currently growing 1 LSD (B.O.G), 1 Black Domina (bagseed), 1 Happy Brother BX2 (Karma), 1 freebie Space Queen x Black Domina (Karma), 2 Kush strains, 1 seed from some mexican brickweed I call Arizona, 2 seeds from some local outdoor I named Cartel and 2 Alien Dawg x Banana Kush. The LSD and Black Domina I've grown before. They are very forgiving and easy to grow. The rest of them I'm just trying out for the first time. I've sprouted the Alien Dawg x Banana Kush but they hate sunlight and I've made the mistake of putting them in the sun. I always kill them so this might be the first time I see any real results if they grow.

looking good man, I'm a little confused, r u growing in a window well? that's freaking sweet lol, or i may have just misread. Anyway the plants look very nice, the one shriveled plant looks like its over watered or root bound, but everyone else seems fine so maybe its just a crazy mutant lol. I'll be lurkin'

Yo DaddyFatSacks! Thanks for the check. Yea correct that's my bedroom window which used to have a nice view. A tree grew over and covered it, now all you see if try to look out is leaves, branches, and birds. I covered it with enerflex which is some reflective insulation that comes in sheets. I blacked out the window and tacked the sheets up. I used to have anti-static bags (for computer parts) as reflective material but it wasn't very good so I replaced it. The one that looked all mutant grew that way from sprout (Space Queen x Black Domina). I guess it needed more room cause after I transplanted it into a larger pot it grew out really nice. I have newer pics but uploading and posting is a time sucker so I'll try to do it tonight.

Thanks man I appreciate the replies since it looks pretty boring now. I have more pics but I also need to take some more. I got some quite impressive results going. I also have a really archaic clone box that I'm testing under my sink LOL.... but I'm serious you gotta see it. I live in a small ass apt. right now so room is tight and so are my grow spots. But who am I tellin' you got a nice little cabinet man

I've taken out my CFL lights and have now got my MH going. I had it at 250watts but just changed it to 400w. The temp went up like three degrees so I had to raise the light up a bit but things look pretty good. Here are the recent shots.

I been looking at them for a while, good way to conserve space when they r not in use, i have like 50 plastic pots just chillin from previous grows lol. Also dig the lst, i do the same thing except i hold the string with tape and not a safety pin lol. grow on bro

Thanks DFS! Glad someone is checking it out. Things are going pretty good except it's been pretty hot around LA and it's making the temp spike but since it's my window I just figured I'll open it and let more air come in and that seemed to keep the temp in the upper 80's. I was getting almost 100 Saturday so I had to act fast. The bags are great I got them from magicgrowing.com with a 10% code from NorCal215 here on the Farm. I think him and a friend own it. PM if you want to score some and I'll give you the code. Apparently they will make any size you want. I think I paid like 2.50 for each 1 gallon and about 3.25 for each 2 gallon. Either way they work awesome and are easy to store. I was tired of the plastic pot takeover too so I'm glad I got these fabric bags.

damn 100F is no good, lol didn't think it got that hot in LA but i do think i remember something on the news about it being really warm there. Those bags are pretty interesting, Ima do some searching around the net and see if i cant just make my own with landscape fabric or something. if not i may just have to hit u up on that man lol.

Thanks 4HA.. I have some pics I'm working on posting but it always takes me a while.
It's the first time I've done an LST project and the first time I've used fabric bags. Everything is on the up and up except the sexing thing. Since I started some non-feminized seeds I'm kinda waiting to find flowers on a few before I go 12/12. I wanna cut clones of the prettiest gals and start a perpetual POG (puddle of green) LOL

I'm on week 6 and things are panning out pretty nice. Unfortunately I'm on week 5 with the pics cause I'm a little busy. I've got 11 plants and 3 practice clones. Black Domina, Space Queen x Black Domina, LSD B, Happy Brother BX2 and Kush B (which I found out is Kushadelic) are all 6 weeks. I've got 2 Alien Dawg x Banana Kush, 2 I called Cartel, 1 I called Zona, 1 called Flesh OG. These are all 4-5 weeks old. I don't have any new pics of the ADxBK because I didn't really focus too much on them but they look great. I'll include them in the next post of pics.

I took some time to hold a photo shoot with my ladies. All are doing quite well except Kush B. It had some issues with yellowing leaves which I think might have been over fert so I flushed it and it seems to be growing with lighter colored green leaves. It's not terrible so I'm just going to see where it goes after a few more days. I'm running out of space so I need to figure out which might be ladies for sure. The only ones I have clearly ID'd as female are the Black Domina and the one I named Cartel A. I'm pretty sure Happy Brother is a brother. I'd take pics of the flowers but my camera won't zoom in too good, and I'm stoned.

Wow Dee thast quite a set up your running. I would love to know how that happy brother works out have heard tons of good things about it. you know how finicky the LSD can be, yours look great. pulling up a chair and getting ready to watch your show. keep up the good work!

It's been 8 1/2 weeks and I'm getting ready to flower. I still need to take pollen from one of the 2 males I found. 1 male I called Cartel A flowered super early and is quite compact. I have a Happy Brother BX2 male which is also compact and very robust so I want to take pollen from it as well. I'm using my clone space to flower the males so after they're done I'm gonna cut some clones and go 12/12 with an HPS bulb on my 9 big ladies and 2 clones I cut which survived so I'll call it 11 ladies. I forgot to take pics of the clones but I'll do that and post them next time.

This is the Black Domina, she's pretty easy to please so I've been taking it easy with her. I kinda like the way the LST worked out on her.

These are Alien Dawg x Banana Kush A and B. A is in a plastic 1 gallon container because I had run out of fabric ones but it looks good in the plastic container and it fits perfect in my space.

My Kushadelic.. she was looking really unhappy for a minute. It's the only one i've had any real issues with don't really know why it tripped but a lot of the large fan leaves were yellowing and dying. It's coming back pretty well.

My LSD, which is looking more indica than anything else I have going.

I transplanted the OG into a larger 3 gallon bucket. It's the biggest container I have in this little grow. I pulled all the branches down so the middle will fill in a little.

Here's my Space Queen x Black Domina. She's a keeper for sure. This was one of 5 free seeds I got thru the bay when I bought my Happy Brother seeds. Needless to say she makes my window look very full and will make excellent clones. I don't know why I'm messing around with these other plants. LOL

Here's a nice brick weed bush. My theory is it'll be way better than the weed from the bag I found her in which wasn't too bad. She smells skunky and kinda citrusy.

So not much has happened since last post other than a small outbreak of fungus gnats which I've been controlling with insecticidal soap (EarthTone). Also my ladies are going root-bound out of the fabric pots. I'll be supplementing them with some plastic bags filled with more dirt. It's gonna inhibit my ability to move my ladies around the dance floor but I can deal with that. I also noticed a couple of leaves had powder mildew so I'm gonna get some anti-fungal and see how that goes. It should be fine because it's pretty dry but spraying for gnats makes things moist and the condensation that builds along the window sill in the morning is most likely proliferating the PM. For now no worries but I do have to get clones clipped and get my ladies ready for showtime. I was thinking of letting them veg another week after taking my cuttings so they can recover but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

My Parvati Clones. I took these from a plant a friend had in his yard. The seeds were provided by another friend who got them to me from Parvati Valley, India. They remind me of Arnie and DeVito in Twins

Kushadelic on the rebound. She was mad at me for a while. I learned she hates even regular strength nutes and likes things on the dry side.

LSD.... she's a monster. I can't wait to puff on her!!
