Update:

The two lowryder#2s are 60 days tomorrow. Showing lots of orange pistils now and I think I'm going to flush them for a week starting Friday.

The flowering tent aka jungle is better without the WW. The Reserva Privada and TW are doing great and there's plenty of room to grow/stretch. Keeping them in 6.5l pots the whole way, but they already both are poking big hairy roots out the bottom. I've folded over one of the Violator tops but it looks like they've finally slowed down stretching. Added in PK13/14 into their dinner tonight. Also watered the 11l beasts with a MJ1000 and a watering 'wand' and it's changed my life!! Fuck 1l measuring jugs and all that dribble and mess...

EDIT: Getting some Ripen tomorrow and am going to give it a go on the LRs

Also have finished the move into the new growspace. Photo attached....notice how it looks EXACTLY like my planning photo....*bows* :) Would have done it sooner had I not broken the ankle.

Enough with the blah, here's the eye candy. Oh, took these photos using a tripod. Will go with off camera flash and get really fancy when I've got sexier buds to shoot, but this is the start of 'proper' photography rather than snapshots.

Ah yes...planted some seeds: Barneys G13 Haze (femmed), Pandora's Box and 5 x Lowryder (femmed). I've got this crazy idea to plant 4 of the lowryders in my waterfarm and am going with it. I know it's going to get cramped, but sod it...wanna try it...

Not much to report. Everything is moving along nicely.

Lowryders (Day 64): Both looking good - the shorter one has 30-40% orange pistils and so I've started a flush today using pH 5.8 tapwater (can't get out to get distilled or RO). The taller one has 20% orange pistils and has a bit longer to go....so I tried an experiment - I gave the taller one GH's Ripen (and nothing else, except some pH down) to see what happens.

Violators (Day 30 12/12): The smell in there is BEEEEAUTIFUL - very strong greeny citrus. Buds are all established so have started adding PK into the mix. Hopefully the buds should start to fatten up this week.

Reserva Privada (Day 15 12/12): Producing buds and looking lovely. Glad I took cuttings - have got a cutting that I just repot tonight for mothering. Going to need DNA and some other help to ID it....but it's a bit too early...will post pics in a few days.

TrainWreck (Day 15 12/12): If this thing didn't have pistils I could swear it was a boy. Keeping an eye out for balls, but I'm expecting it to flower any day now. The two trainwreck moms are still in 10cm pots and holding at about 2ft tall in my veg tent. Topped one of them to see how it responds. Need to learn the dark art of bonsai-ing mums (already got that wicked OG link).

Seeds: G13 Haze (femmed) x2 is doing well - still got first pair of leaves. No sign from the Pandoras Box in the rr cubes yet, but one of the LR2 femmes looks to be popping the surface. Germing into rr cubes sucks imho....but I didn't have any coco at the time. It just shows exactly how much more effective planting into coco is imho.

Today I also couldn't resist planting DNA's Lemon Skunk (x2) and Kushberry (x2) when I got some more coco, so I did :) I want to be smoking Lemon Skunk for xmas...

So that's it...will post some photos when there's something different or worthwhile. Have got a bucket of hydroton soaking in 5.8 water, in prep for cranking up the waterfarm with 4 lowryders in it.

EDIT: Oh yeah , one more thing - changed my baby food from a formulex based mix to vitalink's plant start. So far so good.

Great dairy FF:
I am at day 50 of 12/12 of my violator kush. Buds are really forming up nicely. They are hard as rocks already, tons of sugar on them. Sticky and Stinky looks like they have a way to go yet. I got the seeds from barneys,$135 all were female. and the ones in the drob are cuttings off those. The only way to control the streach was to make a SCROG set up and that worked well the are only getting fatter and not taller now. Have you ever seen seed calux bigger on any strain? some of mine have probably 30 or more pistolls each. Can't wait to try some,

The shorter one looks about ready to me (first one in these photos) - any advice? This is day 2 of flush (pH tapwater 5.8) and i wanted to flush for a week but I think it's already ready. It's also about day 65.

Mini Update:

I finally made it out to the growshop for the first time since I broke my ankle, to get supplies. Whilst in there I bought some new nutes, mainly because they were relatively cheap: AN Carboload (£9), AN Hammerhead (£10). Also bought a small Boost because I can't face paying 50 quid a litre....the Headmasta may have to do, but a mate who just started growing at the same time was gushing how amazing it was and how much his plants had exploded since using it..

Also, took a look at the Topspin 12 dripper manifold and I think it's too much for what I'm after. It needs a circular system as it has a t-pipe entry, and all I'm after is a single input. Am seriously considering designing and getting manufactured a per-pot dripper system (think of the waterfarm's air-driven dripper, only water-driven instead and a portable head that clips onto the side of the pot). Can't believe there's nothing on the market.

Have chopped a limb off the shorter lowryder and drying on top of my reflector. Using the 30x magnifier it looks to me as if the trichromes are 30-50% cloudy/milky and the rest are clear...no ambers. I think it's close to chop time, but will leave it a tad longer. If this was a normal plant I might harvest it now for a nice cerebral uppy buzz, but it's a lowryder so more mong is probably a better idea :)

I chopped the first lowryder and have hung bits of it in a makeshift drying chamber (my LED sexing box for 12/12 of cuts). I want to smoke it noooow....

Btw, I know this diary started out as OG Kush, so I'll close it off when I harvest those 3 big Violators.

It's an old bedside table with the drawers pulled out. I can't go out now without seeing stuff and thinking "oooh, growbox" :)

Update:

I trimmed the 2nd lowryder of most of the fans as the trichs are about 50% milky. Going to leave it longer and see how it goes for something a bit meatier. It's also being fed Ripen, so many of the leaves were going yellow...which means it's working. I also think the buds are looking bigger as a result of it (compared to the one I chopped). I think a few more days might be about right - it'll be 70d from seed this coming Friday. I also plan on giving it 24 hours darkness and no watering before the chop to see if that makes any diffs compared to the one I already chopped.

Fed the Violators with the new stuff added: Hammerhead instead of Canna PK, and Carboload. The Violators have lots of buds but they're small with LOADS of hairs. It's day 36 of 12/12 and I expected them to be beefier by now, hence the carboload. I might be a bit premature with it, so what's the worst thing that can happen - I get bigger buds... gee, what a shame :)

The flowering TW and the mystery Reserva Privada are budding nicely, with the RP still stretching. The TW seems to have stopped and it's going to get interesting to see if this pheno actually delivers on the bud because it just looks so stretchy. I need this stuff to go faster because I'm too impatient....

I'll take some photos tomorrow but there's nothing much different to show. It's a jungle in my flowering room from just the 3 violators and most of the tops are bent over to prevent burning. I'm not expecting much - just want to get them done with so I can put some new ones in and learn from my mistakes (i.e. veg less, flower sooner, run 6-8 small-medium plants instead of 4 monsters, handwatering is a ballache - coco dripping ftw) :)

Getting much better - thanks for asking. I've got it in this huge plastic boot (think Moonboot meets Air Jordan) that I have to wear for 4-6 weeks...but I can move about without crutches at home...which is great (especially seeing as my wife is 28 weeks pregnant and getting less mobile by the day!!)
