Thanks for the info U.Y.-

This was just a project. I am just a patient, not a caregiver. I can only have 6 plants so every so often I try my hand at cloning. When I get cloning down 100% I will study breeding.

I am always learning, and I learned most of what I know by lurking cannabis forums. I am just trying to give back for what I learned. The reason I posted those pictures was to show that you can work with a severely stressed out plant. For people like me with a limited number to work with, every plant counts.

Wat Up fellow Montana Farmers?

I thought I would jump into the Montana scene and see whats going on.... I am working with a shop out of the Zoo. Hydroponics has always been my thing, but starting to dabble in organics a little bit.

Gotta give props to the Montana Medical Marijuana Community! I think Montanan's are killing it as far as the gentetics and quality. The World better Watch OUT!

and now the BUD PORN!

Here is Couple shots of White Urkle

Glad to see you made it Baked-

Nice shots. Those nugs are shining like they were covered in pixie dust.

Always impressed with your work.

I just wanted to give props to the fine folks at Three Rivers Farmacy.

I had the pleasure to meet with them and get a tour of the facility. First off, these are some of the friendliest people I have met. I felt like I was hanging out with old friends.

The meds are top shelf strains. Although I didn't sample each one, the smell and "bag appeal" of each was indicative of quality herb.

I would like to talk in detail about the grow show, but I am from the underground, and still believe a man's grow room is sacred. I will say that I was in awe at the size and health of those plants. Thanks for sharing that.

While there I was able to sample Vic's Fruit. This is the stuff kids! I was sent home with some gifted Silvertip and Godbud too. I swear the Vic's Fruit has a different flavor each time you puff. It went from fruity pebbles to chocolate in the next hit.

BTW - I blame the Vic's Fruit for my incident with the door.

THANKS A LOT JACKDUPP! It was great to meet you, I also concur it totally seems like we have known each other for a while, guess this site helps with that. On that note I loved the green crack that you let me taste, super stellar as was that other strain! It is very nice to have you down at the shop, I cannot tell you how much it means to me to get props from pros like yourself, kind of makes everything worth while you know. We got to get a cup or caregivers bash organized, we can do some pretty awesome shit out here. Psyched that you dug the vicsfruit, that is truely my special lady, got to get here out there a little more!

On another note, haole that tahoe looks fire! I want some bad! Can taste the lemon fuel from here!

if you wanted to do a cup it would have to be strain specific and it would have to be a growers cup not a breeders cup with section like 1.train wreck 2.purple urkle 3.white widow and so on then soil, coco, hydro and if you wanted to go futher you could break down hydro there's just not enugh breeders locally to have the kinda cup most peaple think about but a growers competition thats somthing else that way closet growers all the way to the ware house growers can enter as long as there growing the strains specified

Haole - that looks YUM!...keep up the good work

I still say we all need to do "Fire Sesions" and share the green

I also had the pleasure of hitting up Three Rivers Farmacy recently....

Their location is pretty central in the Zoo.....easy in and out

You are greeted as soon as you walk in the door by very casual, friendly peeps...almost before they finish greeting, you are also awakened by the Dank Pungent Smells of herb. As your eyes start to re-gain focus, you see their large list of strains available to patients. They seem very knowledgable about their product and any info on the strains, as they have some sought after genetics.

Nothing worse for patients to walk in to a place where the crew is uptight and has NO knowledge about the product they are pushing....right away some patients are uncomfy so I give you and your crew Props for keeping it real in this industry.

Sanvan also took me on a tour of the facitlity which was huge...on the word of KootenaiNat...that's mad respect! I was very impressed with what I saw...and I will leave it at that...that's your baby to show off! I am glad to see the growers respect/trust in the state is finally catching up as it lagged in the begininng because of all the new growers.

While there I sampled quite a few strains, all having great appeal and the taste to back them up. There were two strains I was really impressed with...the GDP and the Vic's Fruit. I will say the Vic's fruit was "Firey Candy", and I could describe it but until you try it...you just won't get it period.

I would like to try that Raskal when it's done...

For those who have not had the pleasure of meeting Kootenai.... I have mad respect for this Cat. He was one of the earlier peeps I ran across that had any knowledge of strains or growing. He is very picky with his genetics always searching for the most elite strains, and he likes to get Great Growers matched up with Great Genetics. He has an opinion that is critically honest and can be trusted, he is all about the herb. When it comes to the taste and high of a strain, he is great at picking them apart with his vast knowledge of strains. He likes to put in his work too....Dedicated Man.

Jack Dupp- I respect this Cat too....probably the second one I met with a great passion for the grow. He really takes his time and his work shows. He is very open to criticism and new ways of growing, always looking to improve. Probably does not give himself enough credit for his finished product, this is what I am talking about the humble grower who thinks they always can improve, in fact I hope to start some seed test runs with him very soon!

This is the types of peeps that will keep the Medical Marijuana Industry in Montana soaring and reaching new heights...keep it up Montana....Watch out World

Yes, once again thank-you for the props. This is a wonderful opportunity that we have here, and with the boys posting on this forum I think Mt has something super special going on here. I cannot wait to do this cup and let all the world know just how nice this program of ours is! So far everyone has been very humble grown, which is indicative of our society in our lovely state.

Montana Medical Industry is the rage! Kudos to all of you helping make MT a very bright green spot on the map.

Okay fellas,

Here's my latest harvest. It's a Big Blue (Blueberry x NL #5) from Highgrade seeds. I purchased these seeds back in 2008, and wanted to use them before they became nonviable. I may have waited too long.

This plant stretched so hard at first that I had to move my lamp up to accommodate it. This was increasing light distance between my lamp and other plants. I had a gut feeling that this plant wouldn't be worth it, but I wanted to see how it turned out.

It is supposed to run for 8 weeks but I ran it for 9.5 because it started re-budding at about week 8. After drying and curing for 2 days in jars, I started sampling it.

It is very fluffy bud (considering it was the closest to my 600w) and breaks up easily without a grinder. The first hit is the best as this is the only hit with the Blueberry taste, second hit the NL comes out as piney, third hit is a ghost hit with no flavor at all.

This is probably the worst results I have had in years, and in no way am I bragging this up. I just want to keep the forum active and show what I am doing. Good or Bad. Also if anyone has ideas as to why this plant went crazy let me know. There were no deviations from my regular schedule, soil, or nutes. I'm betting the seeds were too old.

Also, as an added bonus, when I was cleaning those buds up for the picture, I found seeds. Lucky me. :swear

Thanks.

Here's a shot of the same strain that I grew out a year ago.

400w closet grow in FFHF soil.

Quite a difference. I had tighter bud structure with the 400w than the 600w.

On another topic - I am glad I started documenting my grows. Now I can look back at my work to see how I've progressed. For instance, I had forgotten about how I used to wet trim like this, before drying and curing. Now I just take the big fan leaves off, separate the branches, put in my dry box, and dry trim after a few days in the jar.
I prefer this method to wet trimming.

Thanks to BakedReality for turning me on to this way of curing.

Thanks green stub, nice work yourself.

I am impressed with what you can do with CFL's.

How about a smoke report on that Love Potion?

Beautiful work easy.

Is that all outdoor? Loving that bud shot of the White Berry.

Sweet stuff easy, good job on dealing with Mt outdoor elements, can get rough to say the least!

Thanks Jack... all gh grown. Some strains didn't finish until mid November... ugh!

White Berry from Paradise Seeds was magnificent. The Fresian from Dutch Passion was awesome too. Two of my favorite smokes from this season's all-dutch 12 strain grow.
