One Pound One Gallon Challenge

Alright. This is an idea spawned from pure testosterone, youthful exuberance, and downright competitiveness. Think the Solo Cup Challenge, upgraded.

The rules are simple:

- 1 gallon media
- 1 plant
- Must be the same plant documented from start to finish in this thread

You can use any media, any light source, any area, any genetics, seed or clone, any nutrients, any additives, PGRs, I don't care. Earn your place in history, and true trolling rights, by producing one pound (16 ounces, 440 grams) from one plant in one gallon of media.

I'll join the party once my current run is done, let's see what happens between now and then :D

This is all in good fun. I think this could spawn some incredible refinement in techniques like the solo cup challenge did. I've done and seen some amazing things done in 1gal smartpots with coir. Things that weren't at full potential. If this can catch the attention of the real greats.... this'll be legen--wait for it-- dary.

Keep in mind, I'm a week or two from flipping to flower on my current run. I'm at least two and a half months from joining in myself. But, like hell if Imma let a good time pass me up let's do it to it boys (and girls, if you're about it)!!

Ok, I've decided imma push this like a sleezy used car salesman. Dammit, I watched the greats build threads hundreds of pages long, full of insane depths and conversation.

I'll admit, the name sucks, I'm sorry. Can't change it now. But one's gotta admit... a plant producing this weight outta the alotted space... she's gonna be like Shrek's wife down stairs, if you know what I'm sayin...

And some clarification on the rules. You DO NOT need to grow only one plant in your space. However, the plant you submit to this, start to end, must be the only plant entered into the final, DRIED AND CURED WEIGHT.

Don't be coming in weight your just cut one ounce plant claiming it's a pound. Shit needs to be adequately dried and cured to qualify. Otherwise, the other trolls in this thread get to call you Princess Pinky for ever and eternity.

Just the rules people. I don't make em, just state em. Now quit reading and get to painting me foolish

Nope. This is open ended. I'm literally a week or two from starting flower in my area right meow so i can't start until my current run wraps up. Whenever you're ready, the light is green, final date is whenever anyone thinks their girl will put on the had a baby and just got fat weight.

Pick ONE to put out the number. Looks like they're all already in 1gal, so you may be the first crowned if a single plant puts out 1 pound. This is gonna get fun

Edit: it's almost like a no holds bar fight. only rules are one plant in one gallon to produce one dried, cured pound. man... can we call it fight club instead?

Soil: Promix Hp
additives: 30% extra perlite and constant enzyme between transplants.
Nutrients: Mega Crop 2 Part + Terpenator for flower
Light: Mars Hydro TS1000
Tent: 2x2x6

You've identified a flaw in this competition.

Further clarification is required:

It must be no more than an 1gal container. Rocks, hydroton, rockwool, whatever, with a constant flow.

NO MORE THAN ONE GALLON TOTAL VOLUME FOR ROOT MASS.

So, a 5gal DWC won't quality, the volume is too high.

Hell, you could do a DWC in a one gallon milk jug if it suits you.

The only limitation is one plant, one gallon volume for roots to exist in. You produce the one pound by whatever means necessary.
