I posted this way back in November. Well I went for it and got 2 x SF 4000’s and put them in a 8x4 tent. I harvested 2.5 lbs from 6 plants. Here are a couple pictures of my results. Strain is Cinderella 99 FAST.
p.s the lights definitely work good haha

I'm currently running mh/hps 1000s but pulling the trigger on 2x SF4000s. I liked the coverage I had when running dual 600s vs the 1000s, so do you think I would be better off handing 4x sf2000 vs 2x SF4000s in a 4x8 tent?
I'm always hearing about the Ali lights but have never been given a direct response on which model to grab?
Any input on the best options to fill a 4x8 tent with 8 plants topped and trained to fill the space would be awesome! :)
Bar style? They have a new SF- 7000 on the way for 5x5 tents with detachable drivers.
I've taken mine off long ago.
Unfortunately no.Bar style?
Move the starters outside the tent if you can do so.I just ran a two hour back to back test of my Leds with the starters both in and out of the tent. They are what were generating heat in mine.
It's beyond simple. Buy an appropriate sized extension cord and splice it between the driver and the light. You will also need 4 caps and some tape to make the connections.@Grownsince95
Any tutorials or videos of how to take off the starters? I’ve noticed it puts out a lot of heat... but I’m not handy enough to take them off without help
First time I've EVER seen anyone say a SF could top a HLG, given the price of the 7000 is getting comparable I would hope they would but I tend to doubt it.I think Spider Farmer SF-4000 is a perfect commercial grow light. If you compare it with HLG grow lights, it will definitely win. Know more about SF-4000.
