Happy Saturday to all, As anticipated here are some Kodiak Gold sprouts 72 plus hours later. One was up early this morning with the other showing six hours later. Here is Reefermans description of the strain and some review results.

Reefermans Seeds - Kodiak Gold
The original from Kodiak Island, Alaska, this is some strong and long lasting herb that is proven medicine for many conditions, such as hepatitis C and HIV. 40% sativa but still very early outside , KG makes some sparkly golden to lavender colored rock hard buds that are just rich in fragrance. Our most mold resistant strain.

Inside Finish Time: 7.5 weeks / Outside Finish Time: first of October/ Variation: 2 / Odor Level: 2 / Mold Resistance: 5 / Yield: 5 / Ease of Growth: 5 / Feed Level: 5.5 / Stretch: 2 - 2.5x Sativa/Indica: 40/60

Here's to the last day of summer, Hope everyone has had a decent one! Our cherry tomato plant has gone crazy producing fruit. I picked this bunch yesterday with more ready.

The two new sprouts are doing great but a little stretchy from the light set for the taller veg plants.

I've developed a concerning problem with the nute change from General Organics to the Nectar for the Gods. Most of the plants have started some spotting on the fan leaves. Here is the worst case but this plant is also root bound waiting to be up potted when moved into 12 hour light. I'm going to water only for now and the reduce dosage of the nutes.

That's really weird, looks just like spider mite damage. But you appear to be a man on top of his shit, so if you beleive its nutritional I beleive it.

No those are mites, if you zoom in you can see the webs starting all along the leaf serration's.

I'd grab yea a scope and check the leaves orca

I tried zooming in best I could but that definitely looks like webs and mite damage.

yup was going to say you got mites :) pending on size of plant go pick up bug b gone and make full liter of it as per water then place stalk inbetween your fingers carefully holding soil aand tip that bitch under water moving up n down for about 2 mins then one quick motion up and turn her right side up and into another room
once all plants are done and out of grow room remember placed in a dark place to dry start taking room apart washing lights walls floors with bleach ../ chlorine.
One thats all done i like to put some of bug be gone into a sprayer and spray room from top to bottom every crack etc one that is all dried
up re assemble grow room
then before adding plants back in spray grow container under side and sides of container as well as soil and in 3 - 4 days re dunk them mites will be dead

#1 Floramite all plants first time,then 3-5 days after that with ogbiowar .
(2-3 times)
If evidence of spider mites is comming back , then : #3 spike one more time with a lethal and keep a obvious eye on spider mites cause they can stay dominate even in cement board.

Prevention is the key

well orcaman yup you do i had mites once and it was a busy 2 weeks
but what i suggested by dunking plants upside down to soil almost is the best way
i shit you nor , trust me you can spray till the cows come home , and you may think you got rid of them only to see them when your 5 - 6 week of flower The worst fucking time for them to show up again

When a person spends all day and then some to piddle fuck with spraying plants and sterilizing tent room or warehouse save your self the headache of doing it over n over

Everything in that room needs to be sterilized i made 300 clones once for a customer he picked them up and 3 weeks later he was back over flipping out i gave him mites ..
I said no fucking way showed him plants clone room
ETC clean and top notch
What he didnt do was wash his T5's and trays and 4 " pots that he transplanted his clones into even thou he did not use lights and room for a whole year the eggs were in there laying dormant waiting for the right Temps and RH to hatch again
Needless to say he applogized

I'm so glad that I posted that leaf image. I've been a little to complacent lately with the garden. Thank you all for helping me through this issue!:) So here is where I stand this afternoon with very little time this morning before work and very little time in the bloom area shutting down for the day at 3.30 pm. I run 3.30 am to 3.30 pm lights on in 12's.

I'm combating with these four products, and bleach. First thing I did was spray with a foliar spray of Nectar of the Gods Posidodzime to try to strengthen the plants some before the Ortho, and AzaMax.
Poseidonzime is a liquefied seaweed product rich in organic acids and over 60 naturally occurring major and minor nutrients and amino acids. Kelp is a good natural source of potassium and cytokinins, which promote cell division in root and plant growth, and affect apical dominance, axillary bud growth, and leaf senescence (biological aging). Designed to be a natural chelator, Poseidonzyme helps release previously unavailable nutrients and other substances in the soil for plants to use. Known as one of the best natural plant growth promoters, Poseidonzime reduces plant stress while increasing flower clusters and overall vigor in the plants’ reproduction. Poseidonzime inhibits growth in populations of mites, aphids, whiteflies and root knot nematodes by increasing your plant’s natural ability to fight pests and disease.
After 30 minutes I sprayed the plants with Ortho Flower, Fruit, and Vegetable already on hand for outside use on my Tomato plants for Aphids. Plus did a nice quick bleach wipe down. On the way home from work I stopped an got some AzaMax to give to the plants systemically. It was nice that I did not feed as planned this morning and all were flushed with a dose of AzaMax this afternoon and gave them another spray of the Ortho F,F,V noticing the mites hiding on the bottom sides of the leaves. I also stopped at Walmart and picked up some Ortho Home Defense perimeter spray that I have used in the past on clearance for half price right now clearing out the garden section and will go all the way around the house inside and out while my wife and the dogs are at work tomorrow. Now the plan is to keep cleaning everyday for now and with anther dose of AzaMax in ten days.

With mites it's all about timing, you want to interrupt their breeding cycle so foliar spray with the azamax every three days, they should be gone after the third application but I always do a fourth for good measure.

Drenching isn't a bad idea because they can hide out in the soil but they won't be eradicated that way despite the systemic action of azamax.

The mites actually live for the most part on the underside of the leafs, the dots you see on top is the damage caused by their bites (fuckin vegetarians...). So when you spray focus on the underside of the leafs but be sure to treat the entire plant including the main stem which is like a highway for the mites.

Azamax supposedly has a wetting agent in it but in addition to it I would mix 1tsp/gal of hydreas extraction (or whatever it's called) the nftg yucca product, it's an excellent surficant.

IMO that ortho is gnarly and possibly unnecessary, though it's not a bad idea to use it on foliage outside especially near your air intakes.

Thanks Savage Henry, I really appreciate your advise. I know that Ortho is not the best product but I had to take immediate action on this infestation and know that it works pretty safely. I have already made huge progress as of this morning. There are just a few mites on the plants so they were all sprayed again with the Ortho Flower, Fruit, and Vegetable. I have fought mites in the past with just AxaMax on a Banana plant and found that it was not effective as a foliar and had to take more aggressive steps to finally get rid of the mites. I am going to drench the soil again with AzaMaz in five more days and not the recommended ten on all of the plants. I'm really glad in this situation that my plants are small making it a lot easier to combat.

Thanks buddy, Day three today fighting this infestation. I'm spraying the plants every 12 hours with the Ortho and going to give them all another soil drench tomorrow morning of AzaMax. I have not yet had the time for the major clean up. Helping my wife all day today at the Colorado Dachtober fest focused on Dachshund's and Corgi's. Promoting the use of essential oils with pets.
The plants are holding up well so far through this. Here they are this morning after spraying.

I can't speak highly enough about Monterey 70 or triac 70 they are hydrophobic neem oil. And it kicks ass. I always fought mites avid green clean you name it. I have wasted so much money on azamax it makes me sick. Also I don't think azamax has ever killed a single bug in my garden. But hydro neem oil sprayed once a week and I have been bug free for months

This morning all of the plants were drenched with a full strength dose of AzaMax using three teaspoons per gallon plus there first foliar of AzaMaz since I used up the rest of the Ortho flower, fruit, and vegetable spray. They all have not been fed now for ten days and will go at least five more before I feed them again.
Here are a few images from the Colorado Dachtober fest yesterday. Lots of good people , dogs, and beer! Plus a lucky praying mantis stopped by our booth.
