i think the reason you dont see a lot of hybrids with DURBAN is because it is herm prone. I have homies that grew a lot Durban with no issues.;) Never heard a old landrace variety described as hermie prone. Maybe it was user error....lol...

These durbans have the most classic 5 blade thin fingered leaves. Since things are cooling down, I've kicked the 5th dimension into overdrive. Take some photos of the Durb soon.

Thanks for beaming down to the 4th dimension Lady Goods. Here is what warp speed looks like in my 4x6 tent. That's 2 600s and a 300w Plasma. Seems like I can keep it cool at 78F.

Very nice lights. How are the babies enjoying the plasma lighting?

That plasma looks right at home in there outwest. Does it have much weight to it, it looks pretty heavy? Whats that bag on top of the right hand light?

Seems like they like it, bumps the heat a little, but I'm flipping soon and the nights are cool. Should be fun.

It doesn't weigh to much actually, it's not lightweight, but considering it's all in one, it ain't bad. It was a little tricky to hang, but it seems like I've got it figured out.

Those bags are Exhale Breathe Bags, basically fungus that emits CO2. Not sure how effective they are.

Interesting, I thought LEP units were supposed to run cooler than HID lighting. While the light source is supposed to be hotter, since it is the side of a tic tac the emitted heat is supposed to be almost negligible. But I guess since the ballast is attached to the lamp it may be the ballast giving off that heat. But with temps cooling off, maybe the extra heat will prove to be an advantage.

They do run cooler then HIDs, but they still bump the heat a little bit.

Makes sense. Even if they only emit a few degrees, its a few degrees more than was in there before.

co2 question - can you make co2 by getting a 2ltr soda bottle and filling it three quarters with water adding yeast and sugar , shake it up and it last about a week or so then replace the ingredient's or add more sugar for another week. I was told this when I first started growing and have been doing it ever since , am I wasting my time, yeast , and sugar ....lol...

If you put an airlock on top (home brew supply) the gas bubbling out is co2.
Gas production is a function of yeast feeding on sugar so the production rate will not be steady but at least you can see how fast the bubbles are bubbling.
When it gets slow, get rid of most of the fluid and refill with more sugar water.
I know how to make beer, but can't say if this is an economical way to offer co2 to plants.

yes you can but youll will need a lot more than a 2liter bottle. more like a 2 - 5 gal buckets. the only efficent and effective way is bottle or burner. in a tent use a bottle system due to heat and open flame on the burner.

Got some work done tonight. Culled a FBK and a Tahoe Alien, both males. Gave Project Durban a serious haircut, and set the timers for the 12/12 flip. Had a double diesel cut I threw into the mix as well. Denver Durban is on the left and Double Diesel is on the right. Looking pretty healthy and ready to make papa some nuggets.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Gonna do some watering tonight and will take some photos. Have 2 confirmed and repotted TAf2 females, 2 FBKs, & 1 LPB.

There are definitely 2 phenos that I've found in the FBK. A lanky in width pheno with almost no side branching, and a super bushy pheno with lots of side branching/undergrowth. I'll post up some photos tonight and will make sure to show the two girls.

Peace.
