Passing Cords Through A Sealed Room Wall

all we're doing is cutting a piece of pvc pipe down to say 6" long and also cutting a hole in the drywall for a tight fit..then caulking around the pvc so it stays in place. 3" pvc should be fine unless you are trying to fit more than say 10 ballast cords.
Then seal it up with plumbers putty.

Basically a homemade wall sleeve similar to this..
