Will be bonded for life..
All our adult bottle babies are the sweetest goats.
we have sisters who's mom died after birth. They compete for affection and kiss gently...

Yep :) this one is going to follow us everywhere.
we have a couple babies from last year that bonded with us, just from handling them and playing with them a lot. always by your side and nibbling on your clothes and stuff

The chickens are destructive enough as it is, and I'm not taking any animals I don't plan on eating later. You sure you want me to take Chocolate?

Actually goats get a bad rap.
If properly fenced no problems. They can and will rampage if gate left open but if that's happens garden is fenced so they can't rip that up...
theirs a balance, dairy does for milk, just started milking and it's out of this world, fresh, raw and ohh so creamy. Just love getting milk from my friends out back, they are eager to share their milk for my custom mixed goat chow fed during milking.
The does kid, easy to sell the doe lings, buck lings are processed on farm for meat...
So it's a balance, milk/cheese, meat.
all are treated with love and respect during their time on our farm. We feel were a step above average, we provide the best, they in turn nurture us in exchange in many ways......

All these goats make me a bit jealous. Sadly the county I live in prohibits me from having any since my parcel is under half an acre. On another note....this is Soviet, we just rescued her and she has fallen inline with our pack very well. We think she's part American Staffordshire and Dalmatian
