just put the bucket into another bucket and done bro, glad you finally did the slurry you sounded pretty frustrated yesterday,go easy on the lime let it workin the mix since you choose to do that, small increments over the week as you feed asuming you feed more than once a weekI did a slurry test today after re-calibrating my ph tester. I didn't like the idea of digging down into the soil from the top to get a sample from deep inside so I cut a door into my pot and took a sample by taking a core from the center of the plant. I then sealing up my door after filling the hole with new damp soil. I mixed the sample with 2 parts distilled water mixed vigorously for 5 minutes and let sit for over an hour. I then tested it and got a 5.30. ( I'll again test tomorrow after leaving it for another 24hrs)
I sprinkled a tbs of powdered Dolomite lime onto the surface before watering it with 2 gallons of 4/4/4 /gal MBG . I then tested the runoff to compare and it read 5.30 as well. It hardly seems worth a doing a deepsoil slurry test if I get the same results with runoff as I do with a slurry test and far less damage to the root system. A slurry test before I use my medium sound like an idea though.
I don't have any of that same ProMix left.I used it all on my last 4 plants so I can't do a test on it. I bought a new bale of growing medium very similar to Promix I'll do a slurry test on it before I use it just to see where I stand to start.
I hope the Dolomite helps my leaves aren't looking good and I'm seeing issue on my other 3 so I gotta get this sht figured out soon.

No I only feed once a week. feed let dry, water let dry and so on , as recommended by the General Hydroponics feed schedule.just put the bucket into another bucket and done bro, glad you finally did the slurry you sounded pretty frustrated yesterday,go easy on the lime let it workin the mix since you choose to do that, small increments over the week as you feed asuming you feed more than once a week
Thanks for the offer but right now I've got a whole bunch of the GN nutes I'm not going to toss. I've used their sht for years without problems but I hear what you're saying. It'll be another year before I need more nutes so I'll think about going a different route when I'm out. I bought a gallon of each, bloom, micro, grow at 30% off going out of business sale So I'm loaded up for a while.@PipeCarver Nice little grow. I don’t know if you mentioned this in the thread, as I just kinda skimmed over it, but where is that Cherry Bomb you have from? Is that Swazi Seeds Cherry Bomb or another breeders?
Re: the issues you’re having: I’d recommend getting out of that ProMix/General Hydropnics BS and switching over to a good organic soil mix. Make your own soil and you never have to worry about the dirt you buy. Plus, you can just keep using your initial batch of soil over and over again for years. And you don’t have to keep buying General Hydropnics garbage nutrients every run, either. In fact, you don’t really have to buy any “nutrients” at all, once your soil’s all mixed up. Happy to turn you on to an excellent soil recipe that’s worked very well for me for about four years now, if you’re interested.

So this curly leaf this is similar to what I had when I had low soil PH and was feeding too heavy

I thought it was tobacco mosaic virus but I don't believe it is anymore I believe it's exactly what you're chasing I think you're on the right track I think it's just a matter of getting your pH Up quicklime would be a quick way to do it but it's also kind of risky, I would add a couple level tablespoons per plant, rake it in the top inch then water in
Can you remind me what &
" Can you remind me what & how heavy you're feeling? " I feel like a ton but that's getting a bit personal isn't it? It's not like I'm asking you about your weight problem is it? lol I hope you meant feeding but that too could apply to my over eating issue as well. I've been feeding myself pizza, Chinese food, burgers, pies, cakes & ice cream for years in megga doses without issues. Can you remind me what & how heavy you're feeling?

ok just asking, was gonna say if it is there gear,it doesnt like feed at all none, just water, all i got from them was this way" where is that Cherry Bomb you have from? Is that Swazi Seeds Cherry Bomb or another breeders? "
Its from Bomb Seeds https://www.bombseeds.nl/ I bought them at a grow shop here in NS for $35 pack of 5 and I really like the smoke and smell.
I grew this one last grow without problems. This one is a month older in veg and I've had issues before with long vegging plants and they may also of had issues because of low soil ph. I never looked at it closely before or had any help now that we've determined it to be low soil ph I can adress the issuer and hopefully cure its illsd.ok just asking, was gonna say if it is there gear,it doesnt like feed at all none, just water, all i got from them was this way

Oct 28 Tied down and laid out most of the branches I could on the Cherry Bomb this am by this evening they're mostly up and saying hello. Nov 2 update. The Cherry Bomb looks like it has recovered from the low soil ph problem, its still low 5.65 but its moving in the right direction. Its grown about 3" inches this week The KC39's only about 2" same as Bubba. I've got the temp and humidity just about right at 79f and 55%.Oct 28 Tied down and laid out most of the branches I could on the Cherry Bomb this am by this evening they're mostly up and saying hello. I moved my clones under the 1000w for the past 2 days and they seem to love it. I'll move them under the 1000w during its 12hrs on and back under the florescent lights for the next 12 and so on, while they're small enough to do that.

2 clones I took off the Cherry Bomb are looking great and I'm just about ready to put them into the large pots. Another 2 clones I cut off the same week look like they were effected by the same low ph issue with curling leaves and spots they must of inherited from mom but are doing much better this week. I'm now moving them into the flower room for 12 hrs then back to the veg room for another 6
.
Something I read this week on this site implied that plants use a dark period to absorb nutrients. I've been running 24 hrs and love the growth I get doing that but if my plants aren't absorbing nutes during a dark period then that maybe part of the reason for my low soil ph. I'm not sure 100% but I'll cut back the hours to 18 and see if over time I notice any difference in soil ph as a result.
I also re-routed my flower room exhaust to the veg room to take advantage of the heat from the 1000w & rewired all my equipment supply wires to better balance the loads and to clean up cords I had crisscrossing my space.
Ya you and me both but I have to credit this site and all you guys that have helped me deal with these issues. In the past with no one to give me advice or help I end up doing more harm to them than help them.Glad things are on the up brother
