I have one plant yellowing extremely fast in flower I’ll be starting week 3 of flower this Wednesday.. currently running Coast of Maine stonington blend soil.. 24C/55H temps/humidity
Running one mars sp250 in a 4x4 currently will be adding my other 300W mars light tommorow morning and gradually increasing it over the next few weeks.. I’m thinking it’s a N deficiency but I’m not sure. I fed with fish bone meal and langbeinite on the last watering at a total NPK of 3-16-22 still yellowing heavy 5days later.. any advice growmies?

way too much P & no where near enough N.. you need more like 16-3-22 instead of 3-16-22.. needing low N & high P in flower is a myth

Appreciate the speedy reply man. When do u recommend that feed so I won’t have this problem again.. before flower or during the first 2 weeks? I’ll top dress with some EWC I’m sure Down to Earth has a 10-0-0 I’ll grab some and try that

I run a 3-1-4 ratio from veg thru flower, no bloom boosters, no snake oils... I do use humic acid with a tad of fulvic acid, silica, microbes & a zyme along with the nutrients.. never a nitrogen deficiency ever, way higher quality final product too than you get with high P "bloom" nute ratios

theses pix I took over a week ago, just prior to being 5 weeks into flower.. never fed anything other than 3-1-4, & in just a 1 gallon pot, coco & perlite, you can not get results like that in a 1 gal pot with high P "bloom" ratios, the whole plant is basically bud! There is a slight hint of yellowing but nothing that isn't completely normal in a plants life cycle

Those girls look amazing that’s in a one gallon?? Wow I’ll try The 3-1-4 I usually use guano that’s 9-3-1 in flower because a an OG around my way that grows amazing plants (but gives very little advice) told me that’s all he uses.. I figured I’d use the pj booster because I’ve always heard they work.. I’ll try it your way and let u know. Thanks again brother!!!

Agree! This plant is in a 3 gallon pot and yielded almost a half pound. Ocean forest and perlite and well water transplanted up through veg and when the soil depleted of nutrients pure blend pro grow only. 3-2-4 ratio. Never got results like that using the pbp soil bloom bottle.

^ listen to this guy. You seriously don't need any high P anything. I tried using PBP Grow (Not bloom either) this entire run for my soil plants. Just some added zyme and kelp. Getting great results with less headaches and less nutrients. It's a win-win

Different things work for different people, try everything out & see what works best for you. Trial & error with time does amazing things. Best advice is... never put all your eggs in 1 basket

My bud isnt as big as @MIMedGrower

But i still manage to yield 2-2.5 under a 630cmh.

If I could manage to run DE's it would probably be 3-4lbs!

Different strokes for different folks!

(Beautiful plants btw @MIMedGrower !)

Honestly most of my co-workers at my hydro store dont either until I bring them over! Lmao... Im use to it!

To be honest I use to hit 2.5-3lb for 1000w HPS using synthetic nutrients, but when I started fermenting my own nutrients my yields went down, but the flavor and quality went through the roof!

We are maintaining 3.5-4Lb with the Double Ended lights at my warehouse facility! But the product is alright! Lol (but you didnt here that from me!)

Completely understand! When I first started growing i was only able to grow in a closet! Talk about small space! Lol

I only yielded a little under a half off that one plant. Ive had 1 bud that weighed as much as the first plant i ever grew! Lmao

Good times...

Tried pretty much everything bro.. transplanted gave it a boost of N, nothing still yellowing heavy but the buds look like they’re still fattening (for now).. I was thinking it was too close to the lights maybe I don’t know man. I’m trying to stay calm and work it out but it’s frustrating watching ur girls go bad and you can’t figure out what’s the overall problem..
