For our group of deadheads it was not total all about totally getting high, yes we did do mushies, acid smoke weed, but the real draw was the music.
I had a few days of attempted sobriety over the years and went to shows stone cold sober.
There was a feeling one got when the music entered a place deep within and created a very special place.. hard to describe unless you got to that special place..

Was there for this the last night at Winterland. History was made that night.

One of many great shows there.
Phil's bass was causing the ceiling tiles to fall down so it was about time.Great night will never forget.
Blues brothers played as well and Bellushi did his cart wheel at start of their set..

Merry Christmas.
I need to bake a carrot cake today, my fav. If I'm going to crash my diet for a day or two it might as well be my favorites. Kinda busy around the house. Yesterday and last night a old friend of my youngest son was over making cookies and spent the night. That warms my wifes hart every year...
We host the feast so need to get some stuff done latter.
