My light won't penetrate the canopy from that distance. Let's not forget, I run 315W in there.

There is that, but, I think they would still produce pretty well.

I was gonna grab a 600w hps to flower under in the 4x4 but im also considering cmh. I could just grab some flower bulbs for my t5 and see what she can do in there too. The t5 would be the cheaper route to get started since i already have it.

Flowering with a t5 sounds like a terrible idea! Unless you're more concerned with power consumption than bud production, then, by all means, t5 ftw! :cry: A 600 hps is perfect for a 4 x 4 imho.

I check them with mine once in a while just to see them but, you can tell when they reach that point where they're finishing up anyway, you can see it, their color changes slightly, and yeah, it seems like about everything is best taken out to 10 weeks.

It wouldnt be for power consumption reasons, i just considered it because i already have it. Its a 12 bulb 4x4 t5. 648w total. I know its not ideal but if it was just for a pheno hunt im sure it would work decent. Ive seen a few guys smash with t5 lol. The plan is a 600w but just brainstorming other options.

T5 blah! You can pheno Hunt but it’s not going to show how great it can be. Will work to trash the males though

how many times a day are ya choppin plants ? i dont take down full rooms and then reset,but i also dont chop plants every day.if something new looks done i always scope it.i do have a few strains i know will be done in 55 days,62 days 70 days. but i still usually check those also just to make sure cause they never finish the same way.

thats a 45 day orange cookie(caps cut) x wedding cake .got a bunch of em going,only this one is finishing early,but the rest do look to be ready by 60 days which knocks off 10 days from my cake cut ,ill take it
