I don't add a bloom booster until the last two or three weeks, if at all. I like to keep them green and then fade them over the last few weeks, might just be my old habits again but that's the way I do itSo this or Jacks would be used the last 5-6 weeks with a last week of just water, yes? Mine are 11-12 weeks to finish and need that nitrogen (blood meal) or they fade. I only give it once a month and only once after they begin flowering. I also give them a monthly Espoma bio-tome 3-4-4 that I continue until the last several weeks. Again, only monthly. My soil has become much healther these past several years and I don't need to add too much, just try and replenish what they use.
Of course that's in the dirt and coco is inert. Interesting. Thinking of running hydro in buckets come summer. Some donut shops sell used buckets, food grade for a buck or two each. I got a cute 8 gallon aquarium from a client a few days ago with a built in filter and water pump, ordered a little pump on Amazon for a toilet water fountain and a drip system from Lowe's months ago. Wal-Mart has 100 2" baskets for $12 (currently out of stock) but I have time and don't just jump into something, If you haven't noticed.
The 99 Cent store had more coir, 8qts $1.99 so I bought 20 bags. Should last me a few months
I've been kicking the idea around for a few months, planned out the grows after several discussions and my experience this year with bud in frickin July.
What I need to do is stop parking my butt in my chair and taking 3-4 bong tokes and instead finish that greenhouse. Getting old and many aches and pains makes me wanna numb it but then I don't get much done. 18 days to go, Aug 23 seeds need to be planted for a Sept 1st pop date. Hottest part of the year. Gotta get it done!

My girls are loving it, I'm working out their Cycles still but all good on this end! I'm feeding them low only 600 PPM maximum, half that in veg and they seem to be doing great right there, at least so far

I've got a solor pump floating that keeps the water moving during the day so mosquitoes won't land or lay their eggs. If they were able none of the wiggles would make it more than a few minutes.I bet having them in a rain barrel also minimizes the amount of mosquito nymphs in the water!

I've been reading up on calcium in tap water, can't be used by the plants but can cause lockout. I may have to purchase distilled and mix. As soon as I get the two stage drinking water filter set up and tested I'll have a better idea of what I'll need. There was an accident with my light timers and my girls went into reveg so I’ve been giving them the mono potassium phosphate to stimulate reflower again. I do that with other plants that are taking too long to flower like my moonflowers. That trick works on my indoor citrus tree too.
with those colors rockin it would be cool to cardinals and bluejays takin baths in it....maybe once she gets it goin you can get her to take some pics of it in action....hummingbirds as well ~ a lil trick might be to put a bird feeder near it once its all set up ...Yeah it did. We went to a large secondhand store with her idea and she found this lamp and that bowl. I'm always looking at tools, lights/fixtures and garden equipment, call me crazy

The bday girl didn't cry but said, We were just looking at bird baths last week. And hubby and her say at the same time, That will go in our garden.
She makes over 6 figures and has pretty much everything she needs and wants so it's difficult to buy for her. My wife made her something a few years ago and she bawled like a baby.
2 Christmases ago I bought her a mini glue gun (she carries one and a bunch of shit in her purse like a mini stapler, etc) and I mount a laser pointer on top and on the instructions I added a red line from the gun (a used a ruler).
We all laughed once someone told her it was a joke but she loves that silly thing. Awesome lady.

The city that services our area (we're county) sent us a note that we needed to trim our trees against house/garage as it's a fire hazard or they'd hire someone to do it and bill us. So kind of them. Sure wish they'd fix the frickin road off our street, bastards.
We took down several thousand pounds of branches (large eucalyptus next to garage) and 4 jacarandas we allowed to get 20'+ high, 2 next to the house and 2 next to the garage.
Had a ball and can barely walk today.

Moth larva. They don't cause mold they just eat the soft flower stem and the bud dries on the plant. Great smoke so not all bad as long as you remove this larva shit, little bastards.
I planted Brussels sprouts in the next row over trying to avoid this and it's helped

My client replaced the inserts and noticed a leak. He bought a new unit which I installed and he gave me the old one as well as another set of inserts. I hope to have it installed by tonight in the small greenhouse as well as re-wrapping the house which I plan on using to start, veg and keep a few moms this winter. This will give me another 5-6 weeks to finish the large greenhouse (8' x 16') which I'll use for flowering and hope to produce a monthly harvest starting this January.
The small greenhouse (6.5' x 9.5') is about 20' from the patio, 30' away from electricity. I had originally planned to use solar spot lights to keep the plants in vegg but they'd run until early in the morning and bring far too much attention so I'm going to use LEDs and CFL's on a timer, 2+ hrs in the morning and 2+ in the evening. Should be plenty of extra light to keep them vegging.
I was going to purchase a heating pad to pop seeds when it gets cold but my wife finds this at a secondhand store for free.

A reptile hot rock and it works. I'll set it up under a tray in the greenhouse and pop seeds all winter long.

That looks like a cut worm (aka moth larvae). If so they hide in the soil during the day and climb up your plant at night to eat. I poured two pints out of the gallon and mixed the 2.4 grams of masterblend into one pint and then poured it into the gallon and mixed it further
then I poured a pint out of that gallon, mixed in the Epsom until completely dissolved, then I poured it back in the gallon and shook it more
Finally I mixed the Cal/nitrate into the other pint of water I had set aside, and then added it back into the gallon and mixed the whole thing well, hope that helps
