Love the first sign of flower

I chooped and trained my white widow and blueberry kush. I have 25-30 days or so till harvest and then these go under the fire. Took some more clones so I’ll have 4 strains and rotate between two at a time in the flower tent. The new grow law says we can have 4 non mature and 2 mature plants, so that’s what this has ideally been set up
For. I just need to refine my training skills and get full canopy coverage with just two plants. Easily doable next run, I just have never run a ScrOG before but am likening the results with the lst training and topping methods we have always used.

I registered just so i could reply here lol. I'm planning to do exactly what you did, 8x 132 qb's at 4k for VEG and FLOWER. I love the frame you used and wanna do the same for a future upgrade in lighting! I have a question tho, after reading through i see you have a separate tent for veg and flower. That means you didn't move veg lights over, so does that mean you have different lights for flowering or are they all still 4k's ?

I was looking at the spectrum for the different versions (2.7k, 3k, 4k, 5k) and i don't understand why isn't everyone using the 4k for veg/flower ? The blues drop off big time for little red increase. The 4k seems to be the best of them all in that it can be used for the full cycle at decent spectrum for blue and red. Even the other versions that have less blue don't have that big a difference in red vs the 4k! I just don't understand :( Able to make sense of it?

I started with 2x vipar spectra 600's, then upgraded recently to the mars 2 1600. My tent is a 4x4 with now only the mars 2 1600 in it. My plants aren't spreading out evenly due to the light is directly in middle and not over all plants outside its range. a simple rotate would remedy this but i cant easily rotate so i would instead rather look into a new means of lighting, that being 8x QB's 132 4k to replace the mars 2 (632w real draw). Think the QB's would be a upgrade? Just the fact alone of even spread in entire tent alone i think is likely worth it. Plus the ability to upgrade parts as i see fit. I feel like i cant truly take advantage of all the space on the outsides since its receiving less light and doesn't stretch as much (which you would think it would stretch more for light but who knows lol)

below pics are 9 days into flower. Spent 48 days in veg. They stretched a bit in the beginning since its my first grow with this mars 2 light. You cant see it, but the 2 plants in the back are shorter than the middle/front plants. The plant in back next to fan is the smallest, i believe this to be due to the fan hitting it hard all the time plus the lack of light in the corners. Its neighbor on other side is same strain (GG#4) but doesn't have the fan hitting it as hard, yet is still bigger despite also being in the corner. That's what lead me to believe too much fan, nothing i can do for now tho. For now ill just focus on lights lol. I put a spare 230w mars light in the back but haven't hooked it up yet, gotta get my timer back from someone.

I’m running 9x132 in 2700k for flower- killing it- 8-132 in 4K and 1 in 27k in the middle for veg and killing it! It would be a HUGE upgrade for you. Do it and member look back.

About 3 weeks since I flipped to 12/12

This is what they looked like day of flip

damn i cant believe how damn perfectly you got them to be so bush/shrub like, right before switch! Nicely done. A 4th one in there would have been perfect, especially with that beautiful light coverage!

My only worry now is the fact that you use a seperate tent with different lights than the 4k's, i wasnt planning to double down on lighting like that. I suppose i could go for a variation build, 4x 4k's and 4x 2.7k's. hmmm

Why the uf cable, it’s hard as hell to strip without a dedicated romex stripper?

Legal limit for flowering plants is two, this was my first run with quantum’s and I had three and decided to run them. The next run will be just two and they will fill the canopy.

When you have your helper watch your gardens while you’re out of town for a couple days and you eat gone to this. Cloner and fans turned off. All new rooting clones dead. What’s alive is seriously over watered.... oh well at least the next two rounds of flower are ok, and I’ll just take more clones. These had been intended as breeders, looks like it’s not going to work out so well....

Bummer man. Old friend left his 21 year old son in charge once, all he had to do was water. All his plants were dying when he got home and he was in it at the time for a living. What concerns me is an extended power outage. I need to invest in a generator.

Photo update of the flowering girls and the power usage. Looking good, still a few weeks to go anyways. If anyone has doubts about quantum boards and their effectiveness I suggest you toss it to the wind. These things show some amazing production imo.

Shots from day 34 since 12-12 flip - started from seed April 22 . Plants drink about .75-1.5 gal of water/nutes per day. Getting ok canopy coverage and nice flower development. The smell is very strong, and I’m an happy with the variations I see in flower form between the three plants and two stains. The vanilla kush has not filled out and seems to be several weeks slower flowering than my personal strain. I’ll have to scope it soon - curious how the flowering time will vary for my personal strain between indoors and outdoors (when calculated using the daylight calendar).

Above is personal strain

Above is vanilla kush

Above is my personal strain - back right plant that should have been slightly taller for the canopy

Above is vanilla kush

Most tips are about 7” or so above canopy.

Front personal strain, left rear vanilla kush , right rear personal strain.

Few shots before the lights came on. I think these 132 quantum boards are killing it

I'd drop that light about 4" if you can keep those temps in check. What are you reading on the light level temps wise?
