Rapid rooter and watering auto...

So today I was balancing ph and checking lighting and all.... so I'm at 30k lux at 24inch from plant that's just where she has grown to, yes I was wrong on the flower part that I can tell.... but I measured plant heigth and it's at 10in right now.... I think I'm going to have to get one more of those ducting ends that are mesh and open up the other side for intake as well.... idk if gorilla grow tent high cfm kit will fit my vivosun tent poles I suppose if they didnt I could tape or something..... anyways my main concern is my lighting am I to close?

I think you are ok if you are to ckose you will see the top leaves start what's called tacoing. They fold in like a canoe or taco. Your look good.

We just had a good convo on this I think yesterday. With blurples and lux the light intensity is actually higher than the meter reads. Just the way the meters work. So just keep an eye out if you see some tacoing just bump it up and inch or 2 higher.

So now I'm having humidity problems so my bday and Christmas in one month I think I'll get that inkbird humidity controller and put a dehumidifier in but get an ultrasonic cool mist also just for next rounds sake....

I have it running on auto mode now all the time... max temp at 78 and max rh at 50%

Yeah I'm watering everyday when I balance now.... seems my only problem is getting my netpod back on without disturbing the plant... today I tore a bottom leaf just a lil but still.... ouch

Get a jug with spout and just pour through the hydroton

Always dilute the ph down into like 500ml of water then just lift the lid and pour in. I run RDWC so I have a res to work with

Top ups with water and nutrients can just go through the hydroton. But rinse it about once a week by just pouring plain water through it

Aquaman I dont add nutes during week right.... I've been meaning to get into foliage sprays but idk if I need them?

If you need to adjust ph during the week take say 2 ml and dilute it in 500ml water and put it in. Then test. Should check oh daily until you have an idea how stable it is. Meaning how much it's changing in 24 hrs.

Don't do foliars unless needed

RDWC is much easier than DWC and provides much more stability over a single 5gal DWC

Then I'm going to look into building one because having one res for 3 plants seems so much better to me.... and it's running all the same things I am now right?

If your doing weekly changes then your good until the plant get bigger. At some point your going to need to do daily tops ups adjust ppm and ph. After about 3-4 weeks mine are drinking over a gallon a day in each site. 4 plants drinking 5 gals if water a day.

Yeah I would love that I would like to do a 3 plant system.... and currently going through the sites you sent me much thanks on everything.... so I know I need 4 5 gal buckets right and then airstone for each plant bucket.... but that's the basics I know plus submersible pump all facing same way either at start of tubing to next bucket or at start of each bucket
